Area Description

Located right off of Highway 50, just 45 minutes to Pueblo and 10 minutes to La Junta, home of the world famous Koshare Indians. A half hour to historic Bents Old Fort on the Santa Fe Trail. Walking distance to several fine restaurants. Rocky Ford is nestled in the heart of the Arkansas River Valley in Southeast Colorado, and is known as the "sweet melon capital of the world". You will enjoy our friendly little rural farming community. A place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
