Totally modernized high end Victorian built in 1890 and of the National Historic register with 1/2 acre park-like yard. bed and breakfast quality. Covered front and back porches. Modernized kitchen and baths. Washer and dryer. barbque, high speed internet, wifi, elegant furniture, off- street private parking. 5 minutes to all amenities including shopping, restaurants, mall , movies and freeway.

Area Information

This home is in Pueblo, Colorado which is about 35 miles south of Colorado Springs. Numerous world class tourist attractions less than an hour away including Pikes Peak, Garden off the Gods, Continental Divide, Royal Gorge, and the Sand Dunes national park, river rafting, Rocky mountains. other day trips include scenic drives etc. Pueblo has a large lake that has swimming and boating. There is a Riverwalk in Pueblo as well as a Heritage museum and many parks as well as a zoo and a toddlers amusement park. There are multiple parks with swimming pools and waterslides.

Wonderful home

What gracious hosts! This is not just a rental home, but the owner's own home so it is fully stocked with everything you could need. Full kitchen with all cooking supplies (pots, pans, utensils, etc), books, family games, etc.. Beautiful back porch and gas grill had us eating breakfast and dinner outdoors. Only flaw is that one of the 3 bedrooms was very warm and too hot for a good night's sleep - but it only has a window unit in an adjacent room for cooling and it was 100+ degrees each day we were there so this would likely not be an issue in more moderate weather. Only minutes from State Fair Grounds and Pueblo Riverwalk. Family neighborhood with lots of restored homes. Beautiful house, lovely yard, felt like home! If you have a chance to stay here you should take the opportunity to do so.

This home far exceeded our expectations. Beautifully restored and very restful. We enjoyed the restful deck in the mornings and the beautiful backyard and garden. We highly recommend this house and hopefully will be able to stay there again in the future. The owners were very gracious and welcoming.

Fantastic House! Better than staying in COS!

This home was better than any place, i.e condo, I've ever stayed before. In fact it's nicer than my own home. Being a home that people actually live in (thus not a timeshare) it's stocked with everything you could possibly need. And added bonus was the free Wi-Fi and Wii game system. It's in a great location, quiet neighborhood, easy acess to I-25 and close to 2 grocery stores. We split our time between Colorado Springs and Pueblo and it wasn't a problem. The only downside was that since it's a Victorian it was built before central A/C. There are window units in many of the rooms so it's never uncomfortable. This house is perfect for a family with young kids.
