 Nice Place for Couple, March 15, 2010

The condo is small with a great view, a very comfortable king size bed and a workable kitchen. There's a grocery store about 4 blocks away which makes this very convenient. And the bus (to the Malecon, to downtown restaurants) is right outside. I would highly recommend this place for a couple or a couple with a child, as the sofa bed is *very* very soft; not good for folks with back problems. I went with a friend and we ended up sharing the bed--which was not our plan. The food at the Holiday in is decidely mediocre as is the gym. But right next store is Villa Palmar (go through the beach) and their food is excellent as is their gym. The beach area and pool at Holiday Inn is quite good--lots of chairs and space and if you walk to your right with your towells you'll find more peace and quiet still. Again, great views, very clean, good sheets and towells. Oh, the glass doors push *all* the way out for a completely unobstructed view and sounds of the ocean. Great value.

This is the first time we stayed at the Sea River Tower. Rick owns this condo on the 7th floor. The room was recently painted and fixed up. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The only problem I had was that the pictures on the web page were not pictures of our condo. We had 2 bar fridges instead of one large fridge in the picture. But that was ok. Of course the dishes were minimal, but thats normal too. The biggest problem was getting the 2 burner stove to heat up to cook on. It was very poor. The mattress was newer and very comfortable. Unfortunately there was not free wireless internet. We loved the view of the bay and the dolphins every morning. The Holiday Inn was a great resort. The staff were very friendly and fun. The activity people were great. The hotel entertainment was just ok. We never had a problem with staff, they were very accomidating. The Sea River Towers office was very helpful too.We would definately stay here again. I hope to rebook for next February.

My family rented 2 units in this complex, this one belonging to Mr. Glassman. This unit is gorgeous. Furnishings appeared to be new and unit was in excellent shape. Views were gorgeous and complex staff was excellent. Absolutely NO complaints here, and we will return. Thanks, Rick, for a wonderful vacation!!

Las suites tienen una vista maravillosa de Puerto Vallarta, el servicio es de buena calidad. La comida tiene buen sazon y es variada, muy recomendable comer en el restaurante Piacere. El unico comentario para mejorar, es que el sofa cama no es tan comodo para dormir, es muy delgado el colchon y se siente la estructura inferior del sofa cama.

We spent 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year's Eve in Casa Vallarta in the Sea River Tower. It was a wonderful vacation - perfect weather, no illness. Puerto Vallarta is a beautiful city to visit and the hotel facilities exceeded our expectations. The high balcony was a bit of a concern and with two young children we had to be very vigilant but otherwise it was a carefree vacation. We spent the days on the beach and in the pool and took the city bus into town most nights. The staff were very helpful and the kids club (ages 4+) was a nice bonus. The condo owner Cherie Verber was very professional and responsive to deal with. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends.
