We stayed at Casa Tango in January 2005 for two weeks. Marjorie and Augustin made our visit one that will be remembered for a lifetime. Not a Hilton or a facility with high standards, it is rustic, clean, and offers the ultimate in privacy and relaxation. Watch the dolphins swim as you sip coffee first thing in the morning, hike the rugged trails to Cosmitos or Los Animos, spend time with the villagers, or get lost in the comforts of the casa itself. Each night brings the tranquil sound of the tide rising and slapping against the shoreline as you sit around a camp fire in the front yard or swing in the hammock on the terrace with a good book and local drink. Casa Tango offered us the best of experiences and it will not soon be forgotten.
I am putting pen to paper on behalf of the Mike Cox group of Kath, Kay, Cindy, Barbara, Bob, Jim and Tommy who spent eleven wonderful days at Villa Azul Profundo just south of Puerto Vallarta.
In planning our vacation and seeing the villa on line, coupled with the description you gave of our expected experience, our expectations were very high. I can say without question that our total experience far exceeded our high expectations.
Pat, from our first contact you were the consummate professional, helping guide us through a painless preparation and when we were at the Villa you maintained daily contact to ensure all our needs were fulfilled.
The fishing trip you arranged was a good day enjoyed by everyone, however, the sunset cruise was perfect and better value for the money helped by an entertaining and interesting captain – Ernesto and first mate – Pedro and thank you guys for orchestrating a perfect sunset.
On your recommendation we celebrated Jim’s birthday at restaurant La Palapa having dinner on the beach, what an evening. By the way the staff did recall you swimming fully clothed in the ocean, funny how some things stick with you.
Agustin, we all want to say a big thank you for being so attentive during our stay and for going out of your way to have a large screen television set up in the lounge for us to watch the Super Bowl. Also, for introducing us to your “ Special Tequila “.
The staff at our villa were simply amazing. Roger took care of our every need and his Margaritas were outstanding. He has the uncanny knack of being personal while maintaining the highest level of professionalism. Chuey, what can I say? Your cooking compares to my mothers and that is a compliment I have not made before and will admit your French Toast is the best – unbelievable. Thank you to Marguerite for keeping our Villa spotless and for smiling all the time and to Jorge for ensuring that our pool and grounds were to the highest standards and in keeping with a luxury villa and setting.
Azul Profundo is quite remarkable perched on a cliff face the architecture is beyond imagination. It is the perfect match for a truly relaxing and unique experience. For all the beauty and style of the villa the staff are what made our vacation so enjoyable and rewarding.
On behalf of our team we cannot begin to thank enough for possibly the most memorable vacation we have taken - you guys are the best.

We made it home safely and are now having severe withdrawal from our time in Puerto Vallarta. I can't tell you enough what a wonderful time we had. Everything was perfect! The van was waiting for us at the airport and got us to the home easily and got us back to the airport in plenty of time on the day we had to leave. The house was absolutely beautiful, the view was spectacular and there wasn't a bad seat anywhere. We never got tired of watching the sunset. Margarita and Jorge did an excellent job of making sure the house was tidy and we never had any problems with anything. I think the first night my parents discovered the remote to the A/C in their room wasn't working and the batteries were replaced immediately when we informed Jorge the next day. Margarita always had all rooms tidied up and we loved the little creations she made with our hand towels and kleenex :) She always had fresh beach towels waiting for us every morning.
Rodger took such good care of us and answered all of the many questions we had for him. He made delicious drinks for everyone and even made sure that I got to have the non-alcoholic version of what everyone else was drinking. He really went above and beyond and made our stay so wonderful.
And of course there is Carlos, the meals were unbelievable!!! We looked forward to every single one and a lot of the time we just let him surprise us with his specialties. We had so many favorites we couldn't pick the best. No one ever got sick and we really appreciated how much care and effort he put into each meal. Even the presentation was beautiful!
We really had a wonderful time and fell in love with Puerto Vallarta. My husband and I have always been partial to Cabo San Lucas but now realize we have been missing out on so much. We can't wait to come back and would love to visit during whale season.
Again, we had a wonderful time and I can't thank you enough for all your help. You answered my numerous questions and made sure everything was perfect for us. Thank you for making our family vacation so special. We hope to come back very soon only next time we'll have a little one with us!
Thank you again and please tell whoever it is that needs to know that the staff at Azul Profundo is just as spectacular as the house. Do whatever you have to do to keep them around!!!

We had a wonderful time at the Villa. Time just went by too fast! And yes, we would book again through Tango if the need should arise.
We really did not have any complaints...everything was just great. The chef was really good...his creations and presentations were delightful and delicious. Roger was helpful with information and set us up with a boat to the caves and snorkeling one morning.
We came home rested and refreshed. Probably we will use one of the pool pictures with the six of us for our Christmas card. We did that last year as well and so many asked where it was taken! So we will now have a new villa to tell them about!
