Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and relax in this beautiful 2 acre wooded setting. This year-round 3 bedroom 2 bath lakefront retreat is situated on Upper Scott Lake, just 2.5 hours from Chicago. The lake house is attractively decorated and is perfect for families with children or a group of friends rekindling their friendship in a perfect country and lake setting. Enjoy water activities or just watch the swans from the porch swing. A fire pit is the perfect place for the family to enjoy roasting marshmallows or telling ghost stories. The living room has a great view of the lake and 2 other rooms on the first floor leave plenty of room to watch movies or read books. The library offers abundant reading materials and games for the whole family to enjoy. Three bedrooms are tastefully furnished and have great views. Enjoy your meals in a nautical themed fully-equipped kitchen and dining area or in the screened-in porch overlooking the lake and beautifully landscaped backyard.

Come and experience all four seasons. Summer brings the fun of boating, swimming, picnicking, and relaxing. The Autumn colors are spectacular around the lake and area. Enjoy the area's Winter sports like skiing, sledding, cross country skiing, and ice skating. Spring brings the lovely colors of the flowers and leaves bursting to new life, invigorating your soul and mind after the long winter. The lake house is 10-15 minutes away from Crane's Orchards and Dutch Farms, famous for delicious pies and fruit picking. On the way to the orchards is the Fennville Winery, offering tours and wine tastings.

This lake house is one of a few houses surrounding Upper Scott Lake, a quiet inland lake in Pullman, Michigan. A wonderful year-round fruit and vegetable store is less than a mile away, and a farm stand store is available from late spring to early fall. Upper Scott Lake is only 15 minutes from downtown South Haven or Saugatuck, and 25 minutes from Holland.

The house was amazing!! My friends and I had a great time. We even discussed coming back in the summertime since we didn't get a chance to enjoy the HUGE backyard due to the rain :( I reccomend this house to anyone looking to get away from the day to day chaos! We visited tons of wineries and everything was within 40 miles. 5 stars in my book. Brenda

This cottage was SO much more than we expected. Our small family went to spend some time together and get away from our everyday lives and we were all able to do that. This location had much more space than we thought it would, the screened porch was super, the deck awesome, beautiful lakefront views from many rooms and just the sheer amount of space to "be" was amazing.

Very spacious living on Upper Scott Lake. Quiet and relaxing for all members of our family. Offered great fishing but we left the big ones. Many activities available in the area, especially enjoyed the day trips to South Haven. Would recommmend!

We really enjoyed our stay. The books, videos and toys really made our two 3.5 year old kids happy. Owner was very accomodating. Would definitely recommend this place or stay there again ourselves. The large yard was great for playing with the kids.

We loved the place, and hope to go back there soon! Beautiful, clean home in quiet, wooded area with great lake front. If you want to relax and you can live without tv, internet, phone, but want to enjoy time with your family, friends, and perhaps good book - this is the place to stay.

Beautiful location and very comfortable home. No dishwasher. No TV reception which was a refreshing change and just what we needed to truly get away from it all and relax. Would not hesitate to come again!!!
