The lake house is 10-15 minutes away from Crane's Orchards and Dutch Farms, famous for delicious pies and fruit picking. Special Weekend at Pullman

My sister's and I got together at this great house for a long weekend. There were 8 adults that stayed and we were quite comfortable with the sleeping arrangements available. The house is very spacious with lots of room to spread out. We stayed in April and the weather was a bit chilly and rainy so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoors as much as we would have liked. We did however get to use the fire pit one evening. Firewoood was not provided but the neighbor had a stack of wood that was convenient and available to use for a fee. The house was well stocked with everything that we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable weekend. The house was clean and neat and the furniture comfortable. Elizabeth went out of her way to have things ready for our weekend. She is a pleasure to work with. We plan to stay there again in the future.

Great Escape

This is the second time we have stayed in this home and are already planning our next visit. It is the perfect size/layout for a group of friends or family. Our five year old loved the beach, books and puzzles. There is plenty of communal space and yet it provides ample opportunity to seek solitude. There is a large deck, rec room, screened in porch and a great fire pit. Randy next door provides wood for the fire for a minimal fee. We love the Saugatuck/Douglas and South Haven areas and this is close to both. Cranes Pie Pantry is a short drive away as are the most beautiful strech of beaches I have ever seen. Just a great, clean, well appointed launching point for all West Michigan has to offer. We received our damage deposit back in less than a week as well. Great owner, care taker, and housekeeping.

The house was just what we needed for our large family of adults and children. Something to do for everyone! Beach was full of toys for the kids to keep busy...even a big sandbox up by the house. Enjoyed our time there!!!

Girls Weekend

The high school girlfriends get together every year, usually in Florida, but since most are from the Detroit area, we decided to try Michigan. I happen to find this house on line and it seems to have been the find of the century! Everyone loved it!! The house was the perfect size for 8 of us, it was clean and well appointed. The quiet lake setting was just beautiful. We will definitely be back!!!

Girls Weekend Away

This house is lovely and exactly like the pictures. It is a nice house with 5 bedrooms and enough beds for 10 people. The huge TV and sectional were nice! The kitchen has a mini-keurig, which was convenient, they even provided the k-cups. The kitchen is a little cramped for preparing meals, etc but still workable. The dishes were a little mix and match, but fine. The screen porch was very nice for dining outside but still under cover. If you're looking for a quiet place to get away...this is your place. It was VERY quiet. The heat was nice and warm, and the upstairs bathroom is HUGE. We spent a day in South Haven and watched the sunset on the beach at Lake Michigan, only about 15 minutes away. Very scenic in the fall. We felt for the price, we hit the jackpot. Thanks!

We rented the Lake front home for three days. It is a great value! The house is large and spacious. My sisters and I used the house for a sisters retreat and it was wonderful. It was clean and more than sufficient in space for our needs. Plenty of beds so that we each had our own room The game room hosted ping pong games. There is also a pool table and a new leather couch with a large flat screen TV. The lake is clean and peaceful. We would feed the fish and the ducks from the pier. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings, just make sure to bring firewood. The grounds are beautiful lots of trees, flowers and shrubs. There is a large deck off the back of the house and a large screened in porch off the side of the house. The area has a lot to offer also. We visited South Haven, a few of the local wineries, farm stands, u pick farms and Saugatuck. All a convenient drive from the house. We would love to rent the house again and highly recommend the property.

What a great Home, We had an awesome time from the huge game room to the little towns and beaches in the area. I personally loved the huge upstairs bathroom. We really enjoyed or time in western Mi. We attended a county fair, visited local shopping areas in Holland,Saugatuck, and South Haven and really enjoyed bonding as a family around the outdoor fire-pit. Six white swans would swim up to the dock in the early AM and the property itself was very clean and efficient for our needs. Thank you for a wonderful week The Crites Family

Perfect for a family with small children

I cannot say enough good things about this place. My kids shrieked when they saw the play room and game room. Stuffed animals, dolls, games, books, they were truly torn between swimming in the lake and staying in to explore. The lake was great, warm and shallow enough for my young ones (ages 6, 4 and 3). We also enjoyed the canoe and soft-sided boat. And, the pictures don't do the place justice. It's clean, beautiful and huge. Plus, we were only 15-25 minutes from either South Haven or Saugatuck. We loved being close enough to enjoy them, but far enough to be away from the chaos and parking issues. I would highly recommend this to anyone, especially those with small children. It was a truly wonderful vacation.

The house was amazing!! My friends and I had a great time. We even discussed coming back in the summertime since we didn't get a chance to enjoy the HUGE backyard due to the rain :( I reccomend this house to anyone looking to get away from the day to day chaos! This cottage was SO much more than we expected. Our small family went to spend some time together and get away from our everyday lives and we were all able to do that. This location had much more space than we thought it would, the screened porch was super, the deck awesome, beautiful lakefront views from many rooms and just the sheer amount of space to "be" was amazing.

Very spacious living on Upper Scott Lake. Quiet and relaxing for all members of our family. Offered great fishing but we left the big ones. Many activities available in the area, especially enjoyed the day trips to South Haven. Would recommmend!

We really enjoyed our stay. The books, videos and toys really made our two 3.5 year old kids happy. Owner was very accomodating. Would definitely recommend this place or stay there again ourselves. The large yard was great for playing with the kids.

We loved the place, and hope to go back there soon! Beautiful, clean home in quiet, wooded area with great lake front. If you want to relax and you can live without tv, internet, phone, but want to enjoy time with your family, friends, and perhaps good book - this is the place to stay.

We stayed here for 3 days 2 nights with our 3 children and their 2 cousins. The house was clean, spacious and inviting. It rained for one of the days but it was good for fishing! We had a problem with our boat trailer and the maintenance guy next door Randy was very helpful and his friend was able to help us out. I would stay here again. We had a good time and so did our kids! Thanks!
