Description of the Punaluu vacation condo rental

Aloha,

Come enjoy an affordable, truly relaxing vacation in my owner-operated beachfront rentals. Current weekly specials range between $795 to $995 (TOTAL PRICE) per week. For those who can't leave their work behind, there is FREE WiFi in the condo.

My rentals are located on a reef-protected white sand beach where you can swim with the tropical fish and sea turtles in the crystal clear ocean or enjoy the beachfront swimming pool. My beachfront paradise is located on the North Shore of Oahu within minutes of Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay Golf Course, and world famous surfing beaches.

For those who choose to exercise while on vacation, there is an exercise/weight room overlooking the ocean. If you'd rather enjoy the tropical setting, you can go hiking on the many mountain trails or on miles of secluded beach. The units have large lanais overlooking the ocean. If you're here in the winter, you can sit on the sofa and watch the humpback whales.

Area Information

It is only a 25 minute coastal drive south to Kaneohe Town with many restaurants, shopping centers and multiplex cinemas. Drive 25 minutes north along the ocean to historic Haleiwa town, where you can enjoy its many surf shops, art galleries, "shave ice" and restaurants. For the more adventurous, there are surf lessons available. Parachuting and glider rides over the beautiful North Shore are also very popular.

Relaxing

Loved that they offered a washer and dryer as well as the gym. Kind of a lot of rules and we actually got a warning for backing into our spot. Everything else was good. Very quit spot. Best part was meeting people from around the world.

Great View

We had a great time staying in this condo - unit #211. The view from the balcony was gorgeous and the inside of the unit was very clean and well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and even laundry soap. It was very nice having a full kitchen as we ate breakfast every day on the balcony. There are several fast food places within 5 miles and a few grocery stores within that same area. A very good shaved ice stand is right across the street, called Oki Doki. This condo isn't the ritz, but it is well worth the price. We rented from Heidi Hawaii and she was fantastic every step of the way. Highly recommended.

Very happy with this rental. It allowed us to visit Hawaii for a lower price and still have a beautiful place to stay. It was very clean, in a nice quiet area of Oahu. We were right next to the pool and only a 5 min walk to the beach. Definitely would rent again someday!!

I just finished my second stay in this condo. It has just what I want. It's away from Waikiki but I can get there in a reasonable time to shop or eat something fancy. I can get to the notable North Shore beaches to surf, snorkel, sit, climb on rocks, or jump off them. There's a fridge, range, oven, and microwave it you want to do your own meals. There are beach toys, boogie boards, and snorkeling gear stowed in a closet so there's no need to pack your own. A beach 60 seconds away is really enticing. If you want to stay near the condo there's plenty to do. If you want to wander, the condo makes a great home base. If you want crowds and noise, stay somewhere else. If you want solitude, the sound of the surf, and the roar of waves pounding on the reef, stay here.

We stayed at Heidi Hawaii for 9 nights. It was wonderful! There were four of us, two adults and two children 8 & 9 years old. The unit had everything we needed, full kitchen and laundry facilities within the unit. There is a table out on the lanai where we ate all our meals. The view was spectacular. It is an older building, but it is clean and well taken care of. The beach is wonderful! There were never very many people on the beach. It is perfect for children, the waves are just big enough for the kids to roll in and out of and jump in. It is shallow for an extrmemly long time with good snorkeling. There is fish swimming in and out of the colourful coral. We saw turtles and several humback whales. There is a grocery store 5 minutes away by car. We ate in the unit most of the time. There are many shrimp shacks to eat at, we found Giovannis White Shrimp Shack was the best. As well, the Spaghetti Shack was good to eat at with huge portions. There isn't much in the way of fancy dining out within 20 minutes of the unit. Accessibility to the North Shore it key to this location. It is a place to relax and explore the many, many beaches. We were 8 minutes from the Polyunesian Cultural Centre and 25 minutes from Waimea Valley and beach and LOTS in between. There is alot to do in this area in regards to beaches, hiking, and snorkeling etc. If you want to dine out, shop and enjoy the nightlife, this location is not for you. Would go back again!!

The apartment was nice and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and the appliances were newer. The view from the balcony (lanai) was amazing! We ate there every morning and saw whales and sea turtles from the lanai. The instructions we received were well written and easy to use - don't try to find it on a GPS though - follow the written instructions! Easy to access keys and parking, and everyone at complex seemed very friendly. Great to have free wifi and cable for the TV, made life easy. Pool unheated and too cold to use.
