Area Description

The property is located in "Punta Blanca" 30 min drive from Montañita. Locals are honest and friendly.
2 minute walk from Marina Club, 2 pristine miles of sand and Pacific waters, ideal for a great vacation.
20 min. drive fom Salinas.

Between Punta Blanca and Montanita there are many interesting towns that are worth visiting such as Colonche, the biggest hand made wood Cathedral of the coast. Ayangue, one of the most beautiful bays for swimming and eating the native way, everything there is grill and delicius!!!
Valdivia, more than 5000 years of history, we recommend a stop at Valdivia Ecolodge it offers wonderful panoramic views of the whole Pacific Coast Line great cuisine.
Turning right on Valdivia's highway you will also find the entrance to the Route of the "Paja Toquilla" and "Tagua" wich are 3 little but very famous inland towns.
Sinchal, Sterling Silver Jewerlers.
Barcelona, Panama Hats are made there.
Loma Alta, IBA18-Important Bird Area.

All these towns are only half way to Montanita you have many more places to discover!! in a very small amount of time.

After you arrive to Montanita ask about the Machalilla National Park there you will find tropical canoping with zip-lines. It is FUN!!!
Whales are also visiting the coast until Sept. keep your eyes open you will see them swimming.

you can send your kids alone to the beach. From your the apartment balcony you ha a panoramic view of the beach. It has a very nice enviroment actually it is a family one. The building facilities make your stay wonderful. It's a great option if you want to relax and enjoy the beach in peace. Heyy!! early in the morning if you have little ones the native fishermen pull out a fishingnet out, it happens once a week but it is woth it...ask the staff about it. YOu can buy fresh fish from them and the maid will prepered the local way!!! I'ts very affordable to buy langostinos and lobsters...fresh!!! and organic!! ENJOY
