Description of the Punta Gorda vacation condo rental

Fountain Court is a gated community at 255 West End Drive, in Punta Gorda. The city is located on the Charlotte Harbor/Peace River and is approximately 40 minutes north of Ft. Myers and south of Sarasota and 90 minutes south of Tampa/St. Pete, all of which have major airports.

Unit is on the 2nd floor, overlooking landscaped entrance to building, and consists of 2 bedrooms/2 baths with a spacious floor plan, including an enclosed 10’x12’ lanai that is accessible from living room and master bedroom. Décor is tropical/traditional. Combo living room/dining room; master bath has a shower and separate tub; and laundry room with full-size washer and dryer Carpeting in l/r, d/r and bedrooms; ceramic tile in remaining areas. NON-SMOKING AND NO PETS.

The complex has a 10,000+ square foot landscaped patio and lounge area, heated pool with 60-foot long lap lane and spa, covered barbecue area includes two gas grills with tables & chairs, a 6,000+ square foot clubhouse with party room, kitchen, library, and adjacent pool room and card room, 1,500 square foot-fitness center, plus tennis and shuffleboard courts. Each building has two elevators and the unit has an assigned under-building parking space.

Punta Gorda, with its beautiful murals on various buildings throughout the city depicting its history, reflects old-world Florida. Its lovely landscaped streets, parks and homes exude southern charm.

An ideal luxury Condo

We took this condo for 3 months at the last minute. A previous reservation suddenly was cancelled. It is a wonderful location, everything being less than 10 minutes away. The condo itself was ideal for the 2 of us. Very comfortable, with everything you need on hand. The owner was a pleasure to deal with so much so that we have booked it again for next year
