This area is a place where northeners come to their winter homes. The community lights up in the winter with the community center activities, church and little store. Just 1/2 mile to the charming peace river where there is fishing right there and canoeing that takes place out of Arcadia. A boat can be launched there. Also within that 1/2 mile is Sunnybreeze Golf Course for those Golf lovers. This

Also, 10 mins the other direction is Punta Gorda that has quaint shopping at Fishermans Village with boat tours available along the gulf. Many restaurants and movie theater is available at the mall.
