Description of the Punta Gorda vacation villa rental

Villa Rum Cay has a prime south-facing waterfront location a quiet cul-de-sac of executive homes on Punta Gorda Isles; an exclusive boating community on Port charlotte Harbour.

All amenities are nearby, and the home is within walking distance of famous Fisherman's village, a waterfront restaurant/shopping complex on the water.

From the private boat dock (boat rental nearby)there is direct access to Charlotte harbour, the Gulf of mexico, and the nearby islands of Boca Grande, Sanibel,and North Captiva.

This luxury pool home is equipped and furnished to a high standard, sleeping 2-7 guests in some comfort.

Area Information

Although on a quiet cul de sac; all amenities are close by; shopping, golf, world class fishing, boat tours, and numerous restaurants, including famous Fisherman's Village waterfront restaurant/shopping complex which is just a few minutes walk from the house.

Charlotte Harbour is 120 sqare miles of sparkling water, teeming with wildlife, which leads directly down to the Gulf and islands of Boca Grande and Sanibel. Rent your own boat and explore or take a boat tour from nearby Fisherman's village.

Vi bodde i detta underbara hus i dryga 3 veckor och kan med högsta betyg rekomendera detta hus. Är man som vi var ute efter avkoppling så är denna plats som gjord för det då det är lungt i området och närheten till promenader vid vatten med båthamn och några olika klasser av matställen om man inte vill laga mat själv. Hyresvärden Peter kan man utan problem lita på. Vi komer med all säkerhet att återvända igen. Fam Kanbåge Åseda Sweden.

Total satisfaction with Villa Rum Cay

This was the first time we have ever tried this type of vacation and we were not sure what to expect but we were totally thrilled with the whole experience. The spotless, beautiful house, the gorgeous pool and the location were beyond anything we could have imagined. Coupled with the great weather, fine resturants and shopping, we found everything very convienient. We took some day trips to Sarasota, Ft. Myers and Sanibel Island which were close by and very pleasant destinations. We would highly recommend this type of holiday to any of our friends and particularly the Villa Rum Cay property which gave us a holiday of a lifetime.

our 2nd stay at this lovely house. beautiful quiet neighbourhood within easy walking distance of Fishermans Village & handy for all essentials. we particularly enjoyed the use of two bicycles & found the cycleway from Fishermans Village along the waterfront under the SR41 road bridges especially enjoyable. the house has all the comforts of home & we felt very much relaxed throughout our stay.

Fabulous House Rental Property

My 4 girlfriends and I had a wedding to go to in Punta Gorda. Rather than getting a couple of small hotel rooms, we decided to try to rent a house with a pool and 3 bedrooms. I found this house rental for our stay. I have to admit, we were a little nervous not knowing if the pictures/description would match what we would be staying in. Well, let me tell you..from the booking to the departure it was outstanding. The owner couldn't be kinder and the house was absolutely phenominal. The decor & cleanliness was A+. My friends and I would definitely stay there again and have been recommending it to all of our friends & family. Very Satisfied Customers!

The title is the best description. The house was clean, beds were made, everything worked, pool was warm, even the weather cooperated. the accommodations were better then we expected.
