Description of the Punta Leona vacation villa rental

Our house is for rent weekends/midweek/whole weeks and is located in family friendly Punta Leona Resort, which is 12 km north of Jaco at the Pacific coast.
The house has 3 air conditioned bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and private swimming pool. It accommodates max. 8 persons.
The renter has free access to all facilities in the resort like restaurants, swimming pools and 2 beautiful white sand beaches.

Area Information

Punta Leona Resort was previously a ranch and had been converted into a family friendly resort.
The 2 white sand beaches offer you scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, sea turtle enjoyment and bounty beach relaxing.
The resort is very safe with 24 hours security and life guards in swimming pools and on beaches.

Punta Leona House

This house if very conveniently located within the confines of the Punta Leona club. The three bedrooms each have their own air conditioner and the house has a great layout with a spacious pool and jacuzzi in the center, free wifi, full kitchen. We had a wonderful stay combining use of the nearby beaches and the pool and even watched a flock of scarlet macaws from the front of the house feeding in nearby trees. Only minor critique is the sparse decor in the house and no large pots (to cook for 8 people). Otherwise, highly recommend.

Villa à Punta Leona

We stayed 4 weeks in march/april 20ll at this charming villa in Punta Leona. We absolutely loved the indoor/outdoor fealing with the pool, witch is quite essential in the hot weather of Cost Rica's Pacific coast. We also loved the calm and safe settings in this gated community, the house beeing in the middle of everything, i.e. 10 minutes walk to the first beach and 10 minutes walk to the trails in the jungle. If you are a calm and nature lover, if you don't need extreme luxury, if you like mingling with the locals and if you love to see loads of parrots flying over your head in the pool, this is a place for you. Everything being enclose, the house is very private, even when you are outside. In fact the only time you're inside is in the bedrooms if you need the A.C. (most nights at this season). The best part is you're cooking, eating, swimming, lounging, etc. outside all the time without even a mosquito at night and nice shade and sun in the day. And when it gets too hot, you just jump in the pool or go to the beach. You can also snorkel at the second beach, playa blanca. You can also go spend a couple of days in the mountains to cool off... The worst that happened to us was a coati stealing our lunch at the beach, but there is a restaurant so we did not starve... There is also a small market if you don't want to go to the village for groceries, but it is quite basic. Everybody, including the cleaning lady and the pool guys, is very friendly. We had the chance to cross the norvegian owner at the airport and he is also very sympatic... So to resume a perfect stay of pura vida like the Tico's say. Sylvie et Michel
