Description of the Punta Mita vacation apartment rental

Casa Contenta is a secluded upper studio suite with expansive deck and views of the beautiful Bay of Banderas. This home, located in the pueblo of Emiliano Zapata is just 26km northwest of the Puerto Vallarta Airport. Our village and the neighboring village of Nuevo Corral comprise an area knosn as Punta Mita, home of the luxurious Four Seasons Punta Mita Resort.

Your private front gate is just a 2 minute walk to Punta Mita Beach in our village and the El Anclote Beach in Corral.

If you love the sun, the beach, surfing and water sports, whale watching or fishing, or just lounging on your own deck with a good book, some tunes, a few cold ones, and the sound of the surf ~ you'll love it! This tropical hideaway is perfect for one or a couple.

Other Vacation Rental Amenities

Enjoy the hammock or chaise lounges on your own private deck...there's a beach umbrella and boogie board for your use as well. You can use the outside shower around back when you come back from the beach and the one in the suite is big enough to hold a party in!
The deck is partially covered by grass palapa that shades your hammock from the midday sun.

We've stayed at Casa Contenta 4 times and this coming December will be our fifth, we love it! Ocean views, and a very relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful isloated beaches to walk on. Punta Mita is a small fishing village with approx 600 people. Has all the charm of a small village not the circus atmosphere of the large resort cities. If you want to relax in a very quiet, laid back, beautiful location, Casa Contenta is for you.

I stayed at Casa Contenta this summer, and it was a fabulous place. I was a little worried before I arrived that the studio appartment would be too small for myself and my boyfriend, but the place feels spacious and has a fantastic layout... I love the shower, it's huge! It's less than a minute walk to the beach and, more importantly, to the Accion Tropical surf shop where I rented a board and got boat rides with their bilingual surf guides out to the best breaks every day. Susan was so wonderful, and made sure that everything was perfect for my stay at Casa Contenta. The only difficulty I had was trying to cook dinner outside... but the outdoor kitchen is great for fixing up small meals and snacks, and there are so many restaurant options nearby that I never really wanted to stay home to cook dinner anyways! (If you're looking for a really romantic place for dinner, I highly recommend "Margarita's" on the beach) I would definately stay at Casa Contenta again; it's a great value for the price.
