Log Chalet on 70 acre riverfront plateau

Despite the rain, we had a great week at the log chalet. From the moment we entered , our party of six felt very comfortable. It had an open floorplan giving it a very spacious feel and was very clean. It provided a great base to explore Quebec City, Montmorency Falls, Il d'Orleans and the Charlevoix region. After a long day of sightseeing, we looked forward to coming home and relaxing. We enjoyed the grill and preparing meals in the well equiped kitchen. The views from the property were amazing-especially with the mist!! The kids enjoyed cooling off in the nearby river. Erick was pleasant to deal with and checked in to see if everything was ok. Our family really enjoyed our first trip to Quebec!!

Magnifique chalet en bois rond,très grand et confortable près de tout,nous avons passé un super week-end en famille à faire de la raquette dans la superbe forêt bordé de rivière.Très grand chalet avec une très belle cuisine très bien équipé avec baie windows...Tout le monde a adoré et je re-louerai ce chalet sans hésitation,je le recommande à tous pour une détente assuré!!! Un très gros merci!!

English Translation: magnificent log chalet, very spacious and comfortable, and close to everything. We spent a super family weekend getaway there doing snowshoeing in an amazing forest along a river. Very large chalet with a beautiful kitchen which was very well equipped. An a nice bay window too. Everyone loved it and I would rent it again without hesitation. I recommend it to anyone for a restful stay for sure!! A big "thank you" !!!

This was the getaway my family hoped for. While I like to "get away from it all", I still love the luxuries of a clean home with some modern amenities. This place had it all. Sitting on the deck overlooking the mountains was picture perfect. My husband talked about the deafness of the silence, and how beautiful it was. The stars at night put on their own show. That probably accounts for our not once turning on the television! Each morning we walked down to the river and picked blueberries that we ate upon our return for breakfast. Our daughter was able to check her email, but she was more intrigued with the outdoors than it. Each evening we played board games, and everyday we took an excursion either to the Falls, the island, or into Quebec. Our four days were a delight. Working with the owner was a joy. We whole-heartedly recommend this lovely log home for time away, but not too far, from a city, with all the cleanliness and comfort of home!

What a perfect weekend we had at your chalet. We were lacking nothing. The chalet was clean and comfortable. And the property is amazing.

This is the place to hang your hat, kick off your boots, light a fire, sink into a reclining chair and feel the peace and tranquility seep into your body. Be it as a couple, family or with friends you will not be disappointed by the space (both inside and out), the comfort and cleaniless. A real treat and retreat !!!!!

We had a most wonderful experience! It was a gorgeous weekend and we took advantage of the weather by sitting outside on the deck everyday we were there!!!! It was most spaceous and clean!!! We'd love to go back sometime!

Just perfect for us. A beautiful veiw out the large windows and a short walk down to the water. Not a bad senic drive into the city. Cabin was clean and easy to make home. The veiw of the stars from the hot tub at night is breath taking. Owner was awesome about checking in to make sure everything was ok without "bugging" us. We Will be back, with a longer stay next time. 3 days was not nearly enough.

We've stayed here a couple of times and have really enjoyed it. It is a beautiful cabin located on a beautiful piece of property. We would not hesitate to use it again.

It was my first time in Quebec. We had friends from abroad and the chalet seemed to me prefect for a tipical canadian scenery. And it was! Although the weather was a little bit cloudy and rainy, the fall seaason combined with with the log chalet and fireplace gave us a memorable time. The chalet is well equiped, clean and spacious. The place is relaxing and beautiful.

We already knew that chalet for it has been our house for 12 years in the past... We received friends and the chalet is well built to gather lots of people. It is a very quiet and calm place where we had many good times being in family; in fact wecelebrated our 25 th mariage anniversry... The landscape is beautiful, wild, and for me (quadraplégic and always in a wheel-chair)everything is well adapted. We thank God for this memorable time... André Bisson

We really enjoyed our trip to this log home this spring time. Neither of us had seen that much (3-4 ft) snow (especially in spring time) in recent memory so it was really a unique experience for us. Having snow shoes was great because there is lot to explore and for pictures. Most of the days were bright and sunny so we could almost walk around in T-shirts in the afternoon. The fireplace was also great and there was plenty of wood available. My only problem was my "wonderful" rear-wheel drive car without snow tires that seems to enjoy getting stuck in the driveway. Of course that is mostly our fault in our choice of cars for the trip. When you are first driving into the town it doesn't feel very secluded or even as mountainous as you'd expect but once you're in the cabin it is exactly like the pictures show with mountains to view and privacy. I imagine the area might be fun to explore with snowmobiles (if the owner permits). We are looking forward to a summer/fall stay

Our August trip to Quebec was an excellent experience. The chalet we rented was clean, roomy, and very well equipped. The view of the mountains was exceptional. The little town of Ste. Bridget de la Valle was quaint and enjoyable. The golf course was first class. Our side trips to Quebec City and The St. Lawrence River were both educational and enjoyable.
