Description of the Rainbow Bay vacation home rental

This is a lovely 1600 Sq.ft. private home on a bluff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on an acre of landscaped property. There are several beaches within a 1/2 mile of the home. This is a lovely quite place of retreat and adventure. It is a place of unspoiled nature. The beaches, snorkeling and scuba are incredible, The best surfing in all the Caribbean is 10 minutes away from the house. There is a lot to see and do but think eco-adventure not disney.

This is not one of the Rental Villa's but is a family home. Great for longer stays and is kid friendly.

Eleuthera is a family island it is mainly undeveloped. The people are wonderful and very pleasent it is an island that begs to be explored to find it's treasures. There are great day trips to take and many post card beaches to be explored.

We just returned from six weeks at the Hideout in Rainbow Bay, Eleuthera, Bahamas. This is a great house for friends and/or family. It is within walking distance of three beaches and has long, beautiful views of two seas. There is a huge yard for games as well as many movies and books. This is a lovely family home in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Eleuthera does not have a lot of nightlife and "tourist action", but it has beautiful, uncrowded beaches and wonderful locals that you would expect (and often not find) on a Caribbean island. This place was GREAT!!!! What a wonderful vacation. it is so quite here, It is a head-turning big deal when a car go by. The house and surrounding grounds were stunningly gorgious, and well kept. Banana, mango, lime, and coconut in the front yard. Every day we went to a different beach and each was better then the last. Most of the time, we were the only ones there!!. Great places to go snorkeling or shelling. took a day trip to harbour island to see how the other half live and had some great food. The people on this island are honestly happy to see you. We can't wait to go back.

just a quick note to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay in your lovely home. Although the weather did not cooperate, we still had a wonderful time. We especially loved your caretakers Billy & Brenda Stubbs, as well as Freddie Ferguson and Israel Johnson and their families. I do not think I have ever met so many nice and helpful people, it really made our trip very special. When time allows us to make a return trip, we hope your place will still be available.
