Description of the Rancho Santa Margarita vacation home rental

Our home, built in 1996, is in a new, well established family neighborhood, conveniently located in the South Orange County, Rancho Santa Margarita. We are one hour from both San Diego and Los Angeles and are close to all of Orange Countys many attractions including the Disneyland Resort, Anaheim Convention Center, and its beautiful beaches (Dana Point, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach).

We are appx 10 miles straight inland from Laguna Beach and are at 2000 ft above sea level. We can see the ocean, Long Beach Harbor, the ships and Catalina Island. It feels like you ��re on top of the world. Our neighborhood backs up to the Cleveland National Forest, so there is great hiking trails at the end of the street. In addition, we are 2 miles from Trabuco and Santiago Canyons, both have great hiking & biking trails.

Our home is open, airy, light and comfortable and is 2800 sft. The main floor is mostly tile and has many windows and doors opening to the patio / pool area. From the kitchen area, a sliding glass door leads to the patio and pool area. The backyard is beautifully landscaped with a full patio, teak lawn furniture, barbeque w/ bar, tile pool, Jacuzzi, gas fire pit and forever views. For your outdoor dining pleasure, there is a large teak table with umbrella and 6 teak arm chairs. Also, there is a small outdoor sofa, two arm chairs, and a coffee table for lounging, eating breakfast, etc. There are two teak lounge chairs by the Jacuzzi which offer a great view. On the other side of the pool are two Adirondack chairs with an umbrella. Inside, the family room, off the kitchen, is a perfect place to rest and relax after a long day and has a fireplace, stereo system (outside too), entertainment system (Direct TV, VCR, DVD) and media alcove. On the second floor, there are two good sized bedrooms, a loft and connecting bathroom. The loft also has an entertainment center which includes Direct TV, VCR, DVD and Sony Play Station. The large master suite with wardrobe closets and a stunning master bath all have fabulous views facing west, with a balcony off the master bedroom overlooking the pool and awesome sunsets.

In addition, we have central air conditioning, a laundry room and games in the garage (foosball, darts). Our home can truly be your vacation home away from home �� in the unbelievable OC! Experience the beauty, awesome weather, and huge variety of things to do and see that this area has to offer all while enjoying a quiet country home with all the amenities and more!

We are located in the foothills of the Santa Ana Mountains, and our neighborhood backs up to the Cleveland National Forest. There are great hiking trails at the end or our street, and many more hiking/biking trails very close by. Beaches and many major attactions are all within a 20 minute drive. The closest beaches are Laguna Beach and Dana Point.
