HORRIBLE rental experience

June 1, 2013

As you can see I didn't have the opportunity to stay in what looks like a nice camp. Rob verbally committed to my family and my cousin's famliy to stay at the camp for the week of August 10th. I asked for paperwork to make things official and was repeatedly told "I have to get on that", but no paperwork. I tried not to be too much of a pest, but as any renter knows you want things in stone before too long. Over the past two weeks I amped it up a bit and was repeatedly ignored. I wasn't rude, only asking for paperwork to back up his word. Today was the final straw as I called his number, and he picked up then hung up. When I called back it went right to voice mail. THe bottom line is this is a horrible owner who doesn't understand common courtesy. I am actually hoping for a reply from him on this review- that would be some form of communication and let me know what exactly happened. I suspect he verbally committed and then, due to whatever reasons, he rented it out to someone else. I would highly encourage you to see working with another owner, this guy just doesn't get it. What a joke.
