Perfect for Raystown stay

Four teachers celebrating the end of another school year. We mountain biked, kayaked and fished Raystown Lake. The cabin had everything you need for a weekend stay, chairs, firewood, fully stocked cooking utensils, as well as bed and bath necessities. Linda was very helpful and offered us more time at the end of or stay. We will be sure to book this cabin again next year. Thanks for a great stay!

Found it to be very relaxing and suitable for our needs, if bringing a boat look at the site first so can find a way for turning around, I asked about it and found it much more difficult than led to believe and my boat is only 18'. But extremely satisfied and will return.
Owner's reply:
There is a larger, more open area for boat parking a short distance from the cabin but still on our property. However, most people like to have their boat where they can see them easily from their cabin. That does involve some negotiating in and out of the driveway.

I loved our cabin rental over the first week of July. The cabin was perfect and I loved it because it was secluded and had enough room for my dog to run outside. The cabin was clean and suited me perfectly! I will defintely want to rent this cabin again in the future!

Weekend stay!

The cabin was sufficient for our weekend fishing trip. Nothing elaborate, but got the job done. Clean, hot water, heat, and hot meals. Realtor Linda White was there to make sure we had everything we needed. Downside; cabin could use more interior lighting. Also, if your towing a boat, it's a little tight turning around.

We rented cabin # 2 for the weekend, absoultly loved it, beautiful inside, fully equipped, and located in a peacful area. We could not have asked for more, and will be returning again in the future. Would recommend to anyone/everyone. Linda was very helpful/ professional/pleasant.

Perfect Getaway!

We rented Cabin #1 which was the perfect size for my husband and I and our two dogs. Really liked that they provide sheets and towels(less packing for us!). We have vz access for internet and got 5 bars in the middle of the woods at this cabin! Cabins had full size fridge, microwave, stove,etc. Would suggest one of the other 3 cabins if you have a larger family.

For the price, you really can't complain. Very nice location to stay when you are with other families or other couples. We rented 3 out of the 4 cabins. The 2 bedroom that we stayed in the living area was smaller, but the other cabins had a larger living area. Nice quiet peaceful area

Cabin was clean and private. Realtor was pleasant and changed our cabin to one with a tub for my huband who is an amputee. road in was a little rough and ceiling fan would have been nice in bedroom. I would definitely rent again.

Spent Our Anniversary Weekend At The Cabin. Nice, Quiet Place To Get Away. I Was Really Suprised How Well Supplied The Place Was. Very Happy With Our Stay And Would Do It Again In A Heartbeat. The Only Recommendation I Have Would Be Better Lighting In The Bathroom. Very Nice And Helpful People To Deal With.

This is a great rustic cabin with all the comforts you need for a nice get-a-way, especially for two. The drive way to cabin three is pretty steep, so be prepared. :) The Raystown Lake area is wonderful and beautiful and this cabin is in a GREAT location, espcially if you want to hike or hit the MTB trails.

What a great place to stay! We just returned from renting cabin #4 at Warrior Ridge. It was very affordable and the property manager was very quick to respond to our emailed inquiries. They were very dog friendly, which was a great bonus-- it is so hard to find places that actually welcome pets like Warrior Ridge does. The house was well stocked with many amenities, including comfy beds and a nice couch and TV/DVD/VCR. The amenities outside were great too-- a fire ring, picnic table, charcoal grill, and plenty of chairs for sitting around the campfire. It was less than 5 minutes to the lake and we really enjoyed the logging trail. I highly recommend a stay here!!

perfect getaway

It was the perfect getaway for two. Everything we wanted was there or within a very short drive. The lake is only a few miles and other attractions are less than 3o min. drive. The cabin was very clean. We stayed in the smallest of the cabins and would suggest it for two because of the size. The other cabins are larger and would handle more people comfortably. We would stay again and are currently talking to other couples to plan a longer stay next year. Thanks Linda for all your help in renting this cabin.

There were several different cabins available from this source. We chose the smallest cabin since it was just the two of us. Everything about the place was "as advertised" and everything exceeded our expectations. The proximity to the lake and other attractions, the quiet, secluded nature of the cabins, and the reasonable cost are three features that commend this vacation spot for anyone's consideration.

Rental agent very cooperative. Very comfortable cabin...bedrooms are a little small but great for sleeping. Cabin was very well equipped with much that was needed for the weekend. Night atmosphere was great with the fire pit available. Would definitely rent again.

Hubby says we will definitely be coming the last week in July. Also, we are going to try and make it up there for one more weekend before it snows. And we will probably try to book a few times before our July vacation. David enjoyed it so much that he is willing to give up a trip to a football game to come there. That is saying something.
We had a lovely stay at the cabin and will recommend it to anyone traveling to Raystown. It was very quiet and had all the conveniences necessary. Have a wonderful summer!
