Description of the Readfield vacation cottage rental

Have a very nice cottage for rent on Lake Maranacook in Readfield, Maine
At this time all weeks are open. This cottage is 10 miles from Augusta in Central Maine, with many near by activities for those who seek them.
Golf, great Bass fishing, kayaking,(bring your own) there is a row boat available, swimming, but no beach area for very small children.
Great museum in the state capitol for all ages, great eating places/shopping plus Historical Fort Western. You can travel to Camden, Boothbay Harbor, Freeport (L.L.Beans), Popham Beach , Wiscasset (Sarah's for lunch) is about an hour for great day trips.
This cottage has two bedrooms, one with double bed and the other with twins. Linens and towels are supplied. There are two bathrooms, both with a shower, no tub.
Cottage is a two level building with the kitchen on the bottom level with Bath and great view of the lake which is right outside the door. (A new room addition for a kitchen is now being built on upper level so the need of going downstairs will not be necessary, but the use of second bathroom could still be used on lower level.
Sunset is glorious at times. You can enjoy seeing and hearing the Call of the Loons. Upstairs has the two bedrooms, living room, new kitchen, Bath and closed in sun porch to sit and enjoy the view of the lake, especially the sunsets . Might even get to see an Eagle.
Nice deck and wharf to sit outside and enjoy the sights of boats going by, or read a book or just listen to the waves splashing in.
All kitchen tools are there, coffee pot, pots & pans, outside gas grill, microwave, refrig, gas stove, etc.
There is a cable TV, radio, no phone, small monitor like stove for warming up on a cool morning. Many paperback books for those days the Sun decides to go somewhere else. Or, that is when to hit the Stores or other towns.
This is a quiet camp area, on a private road shared with other camp owners with very few children or animals around.
This is a non smoking cottage and parking for only two/three cars.
There is a near by grocery store in Winthrop that carries everything. Plus, a laundry mart, drug store, take-out Chinese's restaurant and Peppers, a fine eating place, 7-11 store. Plus Weathvane restaurant at the end of this 7 mile long lake.
Terms may be negotiated for a small dog ,must be well-behaved, under control and of a breed that does not scare the occasional passerby.
A price adjustment could be extended for those booking by the month.
The fee is 650.00 a week, plus 7% State tax,also subject to Security depositof 250.00 which will be returned to you when you leave if no damage has occurred and you leave it as you found it.
Arrive on Sat. after 1PM / check out by 11 on following Sat. morning.
Deposit of half is required to hold cottage, with no return if you cancel out with the balance needed upon your arrival.
