Description of the Red Feather Lakes vacation cabin rental

Nestled among the towering pines in beautiful Red Feather Lakes lies 'The Cabin @ 587 . Apache Lake to the south and Nokomis Lake to the north, each about one quarter mile from the cabin. Apache Lake has a beautiful easy (all flat) hiking trail all around the lake. (Approximately 1/2 mile around).

The cabin is approximately 45 miles northwest of Fort Collins, Colorado. Complete directions will be provided at time of booking your reservation

Area Description

Down the road one-half mile is the Village of Red Feather. The Village has a small grocery store, hardware store, crafts store, ice cream/coffee shop, antique store, library, and the post office.

Enjoy local hikes, fishing in nearby lakes/streams, horse back riding, winter sports including cross country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding/tubing, etc. Day drives either by car or more rugged jeep trails offer a real taste of beautiful mountain scenery.

Fox Acres Golf Course nearby.

When you are finished playing outside, there is indoor FUN ''' enjoy a game of pool, foosball, or air hockey. To promote the mountain ambience and family time, there is no television.
