Description of the Redding vacation cabin rental
This two story 1575 sq. ft. cabin has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathroom. Construction completed in May 2009. The wooded .8 acre property downslopes to Bailey Creek which runs most of the year. The house is on a private cul de sac road and rarely does a car drive by. Creekside hammock, bench and two sets of picnic tables are available. A beautiful rear deck (trex decking) with more patio furniture overlook the tall cedars, pines, fir trees and creek. Walking/mt. biking dirt roads abound in this area; you can step out the front door and walk your dog without a leash for miles and miles on local forest dirt roads.
The house is located in Shasta County in the town of Shingletown (about 38 miles east of Redding). The elevation is at 4000 foot level. Lassen Volcanic National Park is only 12 miles away. A 45 minute drive to Burney Falls. Lake McCumber is 4 miles away.
Area Description
Shingletown/ Viola area is a beautiful uncrowded area of Shasta County. If you like a quiet, peaceful vacation, this is the spot.
