And don't miss John's Pass Village shopping area on Madeira Beach, (4.71 mi South) a great tourist destination with several souvenir shops, small boutique shops, fishing charter boats, and great seafood restaurants such as The Friendly Fisherman.

If you are hesitant over this vacation home, don't be! This house had everything...awesome pool and hot tub, beach toys for the kids, fully equipped kitchen, beautiful inside decorating, very clean, huge open spaces with plenty of room for multiple families, and the beautiful beach is steps from the pool and was never crowded. The location of this home was perfectly situated in between Johns Pass and Clearwater. Both were only a few minutes away from the home. And the park across the street was great to have as was the ice cream shop and coffee shop across the street. Lastly, Bob was great! He was very helpful and if you need anything he's right there to help out. All in all, we loved our stay and couldn't ask for anything more. We usually vacation in a place only once and then try a new destination, but I am certain we will be back to this home in beautiful Redingtion Shores!

We returned for a 2nd fabulous holiday at this house. The location is ideal for children with a jungle gym and basketball court across the street in the park. The house is one block in from busy Gulf Drive so it is very quiet. The house is well maintained, clean and spacious. teh pool is small to medium size and perfect for children or refresher dips. My sister's 3 daughters and my 2 children (all between 6 and 9 years) had a great time in the main house; while our 75 year old mother and her husband stayed in a very nicely appointed separate apartment unit onsite above the doouble garage...they preferred being able to get away from the activity for some R&R ! My advice is to do a full shop at Costco and you're set for the week!! The kitchen is well equipped with ample storage space. Bith years the property manager (Bob)has been very attentive and eager to ensure we were happy and comfortable. Whilre the cost is not inexpensive we have been satisfiedthat we received fair value for the money spent on renting this property. See you next year Sunset House... hope there is a little more sunny warm weather!!

My acutal rating is probably a 3.5 out of 5. Overall, it's a nice property on a great beach. Beach was clean and only 10 steps from the pool. The biggest disappointment was that the pool is not directly heated. The only heated water it gets is from the spa overflow which is not enough heat to heat the pool at all. The week we were at this house, the air temps were in the low 60's and the pool water was about 70. Way too cold from my kids. The other thing is that the spa never really heats up because they circulate the cold pool water through the spa. The spa maybe hit 90 degrees. The house internally needs a big makeover. Paint chipping on the ceiling, kitchen very outdated, and the fact that you are renting the owners house their stuff is in the closets, food was in the pantry and refrigerator. Because of this, our overall feeling was that we were invading on their privacy. Overall, we had a good time and the house has potential but needs some attention.

We could not ask for more. The accomadations were beautiful and kid friendly for our 5 grandchildren ages 6 months to 6 years. The views, the beach, the hot tub, the house itself provided a great time in itself and the park across the street provided additional for the kids. Located near Clearwater and Tampa St. Pete provide a few day tours for us. The welcoming package of snacks and drinks were a welcoming treat after traveling. Bob Scmidt, our contact person was pleasant and friendly and provided us with first rate customer service. Love to use it again.

The house is awesome. I stayed here also last Sept. The only thing that needs attention is the pool. It is in great need of a good cleaning. We had a great time as usual. Resturants are close and it's great to have the beach right out your back door.
