Modern Townhome with Pool - 5 Blocks to the beach

Beautiful, Spacious Rehoboth Townhouse

We stayed at 1911 Ames Ave. for a week and can't say enough good things about it. We've stayed in various townhomes in Aspen, CO, Glacier National Park, MT, and the Dominican Republic and this Rehoboth Beach townhome was hands-down the best. It looked brand-new, and was well insulated against outside sounds. The kitchen was beautiful and had all the appliances and dishes we needed to prepare meals every day. The living room was spacious with a large sectional and t.v. & vcr/dvd combo. Our three-year-old daughter loved the open floor plan for skipping and dancing around. We spent some arts-and-crafts time outside on the 2nd-floor deck, and all the bedrooms had their own baths & t.v's. I loved the fact that there was a second-floor laundry with a high-efficiency washer since beaching it gets to be so messy! Don't forget your h.e. detergent! The water pressure was terrific, though the water tank couldn't handle all our showers consecutively- the last few people had cold ones. There was one bathtub/shower which we needed to bathe our baby & little girl. The pool was a good size & had tables with umbrellas. It was open 9am to 9pm- no one hassled us about wearing or using floaties on the kids. The pool restroom had a very clean, nice-looking shower area as well as clean, new-looking toilets and sinks. It was easy to get to the beach using the bypass road to skip some of route 1, which gets heavy traffic. It was so nice to have such a comfortable place to live and hang out during our vacation. We didn't mind the odd rainy day because staying at the townhome was so pleasant!
