A Majestic Mountain Retreat is where luxury meets nature and where you wrap yourself in serenity, beauty and magic.
This magical home is complete with deep-cushioned leather sofas and accessories, custom draperies, top-of-the-line kitchen appliances, and walls graced with scenic photographs of the natural magic that is Oregon. The stairs and railings are hand-carved from trees grown on the land. The second-story powder room's sink basin is carved from a local boulder and is cradled in a small tree. Your meals may be outside on the second-story deck, or in front of a crackling fire in the handcrafted two-story wood-burning fireplace. Everywhere you look, you find top quality, unparalleled craftsmanship, and a deep and profound respect for the land on which this majestic mountain retreat is built.
You know you are in paradise as the sounds of nature wake you from your peaceful slumber, snuggled in your pillow-top bed enveloped in 600 thread count linens. I think this pretty much is the Best in the NW...very well equipped for cooking and taking it easy...plenty of sleeping options and lots of little extras (Becca made us truffles!) made our stay here really fun and relaxing. A treasure in the woods on Mt. Hood!, August 21, 2008

Serenity is peaceful and beautiful, but it is also a work of art and a labor of love, by master craftsman, Richard, who built it, along with his wife, Becca. You won't find two nicer, more accomodating people. A large bowl of fruit welcomed us, and Becca reviewed the "essentials" of the home. We celebrated my 60th bithday, with family and friends of all ages, and everyone had a great time. This unique, well designed, spacious, and comfortable home is a treasure! The gourmet kitchen opens to a family room with firelace, and a large deck that is the perfect place to gather for a glass of wine, a meal, or to take in the beauty of nature and quietly read a book. There's a hot tub with large towels and various sized flip flops provided. This beautiful log home has everything, and is waiting for you to visit. We did, and we had a fun, relaxing, and simply fantastic time. We will be back soon! Great Place to Stay, July 13, 2008

Serenity - Absolutely stunning! We appreciate the hard work you put into this place.
Hospitality - No one has ever made us feel more welcome! We loved the fruit bowl and really enjoyed the homemade truffles! YUM!
We spent our time here viewing and exploring around Mt Hood, several falls and even going up Lolo Pass Road and playing in the snow. Our girls loved that.
We all enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and just sitting and taking in the views. We are already talking about coming back and bringing friends with us.
