Enjoy a charming, light-filled and airy home, overlooking 14 acres of open meadow and rolling hills.

There are three bedrooms a wonderful bright living room, dining room, kitchen, solarium and two full baths.

The house is fully equipped with all bed linen, towels, dishes, flatware and cooking utensils included.

Area Description

Experience the glorious colors of Autumn in the Berkshires! Follow winding country roads bathed in color and stop at local orchards along the way. Pick apples and pumpkins!

In winter the ski resorts of Jiminy Peak, Bousquet, Butternut and Catamount are an easy drive from the house, all within 20 miles.

Summertime means Tanglewood in nearby Lenox as well as a wide array of all the wonderful cultural activities the area offers including Jacob's Pillow in Becket, Berkshire Theatre Festival in Stockbridge, the Mahaiwe Theatre in Great Barrington where classical and contemporary music are performed and classic movies are shown, among many others.

Historic homes and museums in the vicinity include the Norman Rockwell museum; Herbert Melville's Arrowhead Farm; The Mount, Edith Wharton's home; Ventfort Hall Mansion; Hancock Shaker Village just down the road, and Chesterwood.

Other activities in the area include horse back riding; golf at public courses, including Cranwell Resort & Golf Club in Lenox; white water rafting on the Deerfield river; swimming in Pittsfield State Forest; fishing; canoe tours, antique train rides, boating, hot air ballooning, picnicing, hiking on the Appalachian Trail, and biking.
