Discover the western most point of the island of Puerto Rico by staying at Hacienda Del Mar. This vacation home is located within walking distance of the beach and within a 5 minute drive from other beaches - ranging from surfing spots during the winter season, to snorkeling and sandy beaches for relaxation year round.

Hacienda Del Mar is a three bedroom townhouse boasting fine wood work and a tasteful tropical decor. It is nestled in the small town of Rincon. The town name means "corner" in Spanish, a well suited name since it is situated at the western most point of Puerto Rico. The town is known for its sunsets over the Caribbean sea, surfing, scuba diving, snorkeling, whale watching, and its friendly & small town atmosphere. It is frequented by visitors year round from all over the world, and locals alike. Its friendly residents will make you feel right at home.

The town of Rincon offers a great variety of restaurants, local bars, and breathtaking views from many different spots. If you take a drive up the street from the home and jump on route 413 "the road to happiness", just grab any side street and start climbing up the hill sides. These hill sides will reveal beautiful views of the Caribbean sea and Desecheo Island. During the winter months, you can find great surf and often come across a surfing competition. Waves can some times grow to 20-25 feet and break in open water.

Beaches near the home are Tres Palmas, Escalera, El Balneario, and the very begining of Corcega beach near El Cofresi hotel - just down the street from el Econo supermarket.

Our family recently spent 5 glorious and relaxing days at Hacienda del Mar. The house was absolutely beautiful, extremely well cared for and maintained, it had everything we needed, it was very comfortable, spacious, and most important, SPOTLESS. The surrounding area was fabulous with lots to do. We walked to the beach, that's how close it was to the house. And the sunsets, ahh the sunsets; they were breathtaking!!! It was a privilege and a pleasure to do business with the owners. They are the consumate business professionals. All the details for the arrangements were handled with the utmost care and attention. I would HIGHLY recommend this property and would not hesitate at all to rent again!! It was truly a wonderful experience.
