The village has everything necessary to have a perfect weekend. Also, it is very well decorated and beatiful furniture. John was very attentive with me at all times and with quick responses. Definitely, I recommend this place.

Outstanding Property

Punta del Mar is an exclusive enclave of beach villas located right off PR-115 within the city of Rincon. The property is protected by a 24-hour manned guard gate and the villas are located far down a winding road from the highway and surrounded by wooded areas on either side. This isolation is exactly what I was looking for. There are a number of villas within the complex but the parking lot was mostly empty during the week and barely half full on the weekend. On the first day of my visit (a weekday) the beach was practically deserted. Even over a holiday weekend, it was sparsely populated. I could walk for a half mile in either direction and not encounter another person. The villa was beautiful with all the modern conveniences, including free Wi-Fi. The pictures are accurate, but do not do the villa justice. It was much larger than I expected. It was well stocked with everything I needed (except food-- but a visit to Econo, the nearby grocery store, remedied that). While in town, don't miss the opportunity to have brunch at Casa Islena or enjoy the sunset while dining at Tamboo Tavern--both only a brief walk down the beach. Don’t bother driving to them as the walk down the beach is shorter than the laborious drive through the mountains to get there. John, the owner, is extremely pleasant to work with and very quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend his villa and will definitely stay there again.

Lovely escape, feels like a high end hotel

This property overall (a condo complex) is very quiet during the week and just a bit busier during the weekend. It is lovely, safe and a relaxing. The pool is great and the beach is deserted and has a nice combo of surf and a quieter swimming area. The unit itself feel like a lovely tropical high end hotel and I highly recommend it. The owners keep it in great repair and it is a wonderful retreat.

The Villa at Punta Del Mar Beach Village was outstanding. Close to the beach, tennis courts, basketball court and pool. The furnishings inside the villa were nice and clean. 2 Kayaks were available for use along with 2 mountain bikes. The beach is close and during the week hardly a soul walks the beach. Weekend comes and a few families are seen otherwise you have the beach to ourself. I would highly recommend this villa and we plan on staying there in the future.
