Great house in gated community

This is the nicest rental house I have stayed at in ABQ. All rooms are big, the tv and wifi worked without a problem, great location, great development. The owner was very organized - she gives you pages of instructions on what to do if problems, when to throw garbage, out, etc. I dont have a negative thing to say about this rental.

Spacious quarters away from it all

We've now stayed in this rental property twice, and have been very pleased both times. The place is obviously much loved by the owners, who've put a lot of time and energy into it and clearly don't treat it as a mere rental property. It's spacious, comfortable, and a bit funky, and an excellent place for a couple of families to share. It's close enough for convenience, but away enough so that you can enjoy the stars at night from the balcony. Highly recommended.

Several members of our extended family shared this vacation rental home. They were warmly greeted by the owners upon arrival. Their stay exceeded all of our expectations. The home was lovely & spacious. The children felt at home & had so much fun playing foosball & exploring the yard. To everyone's surprise hot air balloons were even seen in July from this great vacation home rental in Rio Rancho. So glad to know about this home to recommend to others who may need a place to stay in Rio Rancho.

We felt at home just as soon as we arrived! The home owners created a very "good feeling home". The floor plan was open and provided great space for us to have family over for dinner. Each room had beautiful artwork hanging or painted on the walls. We felt like we were staying at a very good friend's home. The house was very clean, and we felt very safe and comfortable. The park down the street was great to walk to as well. The mattress was very, very comfortable. The light in the house was great too - a very "happy" home. We highly recommend this home to a family or a retired couple. It is suitable for all :o)

Welcoming home overlooking the Sandia Mountains

Excellent place to stay in Rio Rancho with beautiful views of the Sandia Mts. Very clean, comfortable and roomy! We celebrated Thanksgiving with 25 guests and it was wonderful. Our family slept so comfortably and the sheets smelled like fresh fabric softner and were so cozy. Beautiful back yard with views that are breathtaking when the sun rises and settles. Very conveniently located to shopping plaza's and not to far from Albuquerque. Looking forwards to another stay at this casa!

Great House for a large Family

We rented the main unit along with the additional unit and it was worth it. There is so much room to either spread out or we the whole group could enjoy TV or Foosball on the ground floor. The owner gave us a tour of the home and left us some home made bread. She was a pleasure to deal with.

My family had the wonderful opportunity to stay at this lovely home during Labor Day weekend. We wanted a quick getaway for my husband and I and our adult children. The patios were a great place to sit and visit with each other during the evenings. We had so many plans to do in Albuquerque, we actually spent very little time there and spent the majority of our time together in the home. It was comfortable, quiet, and fun. We loved playing fooseball tournaments, grilling out and enjoying meals together at the house. The owners were very kind and hospitable. This was the best week end trip we could have had as a family without being on top of each other. The home provided us the togetherness and space for all of us to have a great stay.

Family Visit

My husband and adult daughter rented this well-equipped, user-friendly home for a week while visiting another daughter who recently had a baby. We felt fortunate to find a home in Rio Rancho and while it was a short (14 minute) trip to and from our daughter's home, it was much preferable to a hotel. Plenty of indoor spaces - full kitchen, 2 master suites and well-stocked TV/Video room; however, it was the outdoor space that we most enjoyed. A dining area off the kitchen allowed us to entertain new in-laws, an upper deck where we watched as many as 16 hot air ballons each morning, and a relaxing desert garden viewed from a delightful swing/glider. The owners were solicitous and available (a smoke alarm in a neighboring unit went off unexpectedly!) and even provided area magazines and reviews of local restaurants. The sunsets and nightskies were magnificent and visiting during "monsoon" season was exciting with terrific lightning & thunder. Would visit again without a doubt.

Very Comfortable! We loved it!

We rented this property for 5 days in June. The owners were extremely friendly and accomodating. We would definitely stay here again. The house is only about 35 minutes from the airport and is close to grocery stores and restaurants. The house had plenty of room for our family of 5 (Mom, Dad and three daughters), as well as for Grandma and Grandpa! The kitchen was easy to work in and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and it was always quiet. In the mornings, we had a perfect view of many hot air balloons launching and landing. The special touches and thoughtfulness of the owners is what made this the perfect place to stay.

This house is a hidden gem! It is very spacious with everything you need to feel at home - plenty of room for our group = 2 adults + 5 children. We have rented vacation homes for years and this was one of the best experiences we have had. Penny was a delight to work with from our first contact. She communicated clearly and quickly, she gave us all the details we needed to make a good decision, she was flexible and adapted to our needs. The house is out of town and very relaxing! The set up was perfect for our group of three generations of women traveling together. The first floor suite was great for grandma and the upstairs suite worked well for a mother/daughter pair. The house is so well supplied that we were able to host a nice dinner for 6, and there were even enough serving pieces! If we have an opportunity to return to the area we will chose this rental again!
