Reviews for this vacation home rental in Rio Rico, Arizona
BEST IN THE SOUTHWEST
March 26, 2014
Well, I hesitated about reviewing this property for fear of letting the cat out of the bag. We are semi-snowbirds from Illinois that have been coming to the southwest to escape at least some of the winter back home,(this winter was especially harsh and never ending), for the last 15 years. This location, at least for us,was ideal. To the quiet neighborhood, fenced in yard for our dogs, familiar DISH TV, beautifully decorated yet still comfortable home, easy access to shopping and too many restaurants to count. And for me especially, tennis courts in two places that allowed me to play up to 5 times/week, if I could have survived that much, lol. The two groups were very willing to have new players jump in and play. I can't say enough about our gracious hostess Dora. What a sweetheart. There was nothing that we had a problem with, ( except maybe the vacuum bag installed upside down, lol.she swore she didn't do it). But, we always felt that Dora was only a call or email away to help us out. After only a few days I knew that this was the place we had been looking for all these years. And so I though I would book again for 2015, you guessed it, some Canadians had already booked almost the entire winter. See what I mean about letting the cat out. Well not to worry, I then booked for 2016. So take that you pesky canuks.... Lol.

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed ourselves even though during our visit Arizona experienced their 100 year freeze. This was our first experience in a vacation rental and we would do it again in a heartbeat if they are all like this one! We're coming back again this year. The owner is such a joy to rent from and we recommend this rental very highly to anyone that would like to visit Rio Rico or the surrounding area.

Outstanding home in a beautiful area!
April 9, 2013
This 3BR-3BA home is located in a quiet area approximately two miles from the I-19. It’s almost new, fully equipped, with lots of space and comfortable furniture. We liked the remote, hilly location, close to nature, in an open range ranching area. A fence-gate keeps the cattle and horses out and still allows close up bird watching e.g. roadrunners. Views from the house are outstanding, appearing different at different times of day and you can see the stars at night. There are many southern Arizona attractions to see near Rio Rico e.g. Tombstone, Bisbee, and shopping is close by in Nogales or Rio Rico. Tubac, Green Valley and Tucson are easy to access via the Interstate. We stayed for two months, February and March, and would have loved to stay longer. Dora was a delight to deal with and able to answer any questions we had.
Steve & Cherie thank you for your kind words, it was a pleasure for me to have you as my guests. I hope you keep in mind this property so we can have you back next winter or any other time of the years to come. Thank you for your feedback and your wonderful comments. We'll keep in touch.
I'll miss you.

This is a gorgeous home!! It's spotless and very comfortable. You won't forget the views from this property - no matter which way you look!! The neighborhood is beautiful and everyone we met was very friendly. Having this home to return to each night after touring the area made our Arizona Adventure extra special! Dora is delightful and easy to work with. Our security deposit was promptly returned. We highly recommend this home!!
