Brand new cabin for the perfect family getaway. It will sleep as many as 12 people, has TVs in every room with DVD/VCR receivers, two full baths and one half bath, beautiful large wrap around deck, and much more. Situated in the heart of the Snowbird Mountains on Snowbird Creek the outdoor enthusiast will be as close to paradise as they can get on this earth. Fishing, Tubing, Hiking, Whitewater, Horseback riding you name it this area has it. You can catch your limit of Rainbow, Brook or Browns without starting your car and the kids will have a blast tubing down the creek. Hike to waterfalls or a stretch of the Appalachian Trail. Tranquility and seclusion on a private road affords long quiet walks and a safe place for the kids to act like kids. This is a place that will take you and your family away from it all. Come experience the "Snowbird Retreat", you will be glad you did.

This area is blessed with some of God's greatest masterpieces. Waterfalls, hiking trails,
Mountain Streams, Majestic Mountain Views just to name a few. Here we give you an idea of some of the must see things in our area. Deep Creek Tubing in Bryson City. If you love tubing this is a must. Hours of the greatest tubing in the area. Inexpensive, safe and fun. The kids love it.

Over thousands of years, the swift currents of the Nantahala River have slowly carved an incredible gorge in the mountains of western North Carolina. Tucked away in that gorge lies the main campus of Nantahala Outdoor Center.The US Forest Service requires that Nantahala River rafters are a minimum of 7 years old or weigh 60 pounds. Minimum age for single inflatable ducky rentals is 9 years old. They do have options for smaller children as well.
If you do a search for 'Nantahala River', it will pull up many different rafting companies for you to choose from.

Great Smoky Mountain Railroad if you love old time railroad rides here is the best of the best. With their main depot in Bryson City only 40 minutes from the cabin you can also board the train in Andrews or Dillsboro. Dining cars, sightseeing and raft and rail packages are all available for an unforgettable time of your life.

Authentic Cherokee Outdoor drama. Historic, Entertaining and Professionally done by local artists.This is a great place to spend the day. A nice park for picnicking along a creek the kids can play in. Great shopping for arts and crafts and a great place for the kids to pan for gold. Harrah's Casino in Cherokee is a favorite for entertainment, dining and gaming.

Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest is only a few miles up the road and one of the sites you will probably visit numerous times. Huge hemlocks, Oaks and pines surrounded by native foliage that is unique to this forest. If you do a search on 'Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest', it will provide you with much more information.

Fontana Dam largest Dam east of the Mississippi and the most beautiful in the world. Take the tram to the power house or walk the top, they give a great tour. The Appalachain Trail goes right next to the dam as it comes thru Graham County. There are great hiking trails in this area as well.

Had a wonderful time. The house has everything to make your stay enjoyable. You can catch your dinner right in your backyard. All appliances are up-to-date and the house is decorated to make you feel at home.

This cabin is great! Right on the creek and cabin is clean, new and comfortable. Only problem was it was too cold to fish ;-)
