Description of the Robbinsville vacation cabin rental
Enter the cabin, and the first thing you note is the abundance of wood and glass...allowing the outside to come in. There are two sets of sliding glass doors leading out to the deck. Wow! The view is amazing! The great room is perfect. There's a stone fireplace, a media center, comfy furniture, a cute dining area, lots of decor, vaulted ceiling and more. The kitchen area is fully equipped. You even have a waffle iron. Walk down the hall to a bedroom with full bath across the hall. You also have a laundry area.
Go up the stairs, and you will be in the loft. Here there's a king size bed, walk-in closet, another full bath, and a reading nook.
Check out the view from the deck. It's beautiful. Imagine a glass of wine in the evening with that view...or enjoy the firepit while roasting marshmallows.
Additionally, You're right in the middle of lots of places to hike, so grab a hiking stick and explore. If it's the weekend, head over to Bryson or the Stecoah Center and get real mountain music for entertainment. Who knows? There may be even some clogging going on.
When they say location, location, location, they're talking about this area. It's where most of your mountain activities are!
Area Information
A short drive away takes you to the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, waterfalls, Cherohala Skyline, Great Smokies Railroad, Tail of the Dragon, Cade's Cove, Deep Creek, etc.
If you want to be in the middle of a zillion people on your vacation, pick another spot; if you do want some shopping malls or bumper to bumper traffic, you only have to drive about an hour to get there. My area is often called the best kept secret in the Smokies. Once you visit, you'll know why.

Chalet at Sawyer Creek

We stayed at this beautiful cabin for two nights and it was wonderful! We came in when it was dark so we had some difficulty finding the place but when we did find it we fell in love! Especially in the morning when the sun is rising. The view from the loft is amazing! Everything was in perfect condition and we were very pleased! The only thing that was kind of concerning was the lack of cell phone service in the area. At first it was annoying but it actually made the stay at the cabin more enjoyable! There is a phone in the cabin that works just fine so no worries! Overall it was a great vacation!!! We hope to stay in the cabin again soon!

For the first time my two sisters and I decided to take a vacation together. Everything was planned between the three. It was great…because we could not make a better selection. The beautiful place, cozy, private with an amazing scenery was the PERFECT VACATION!!! I would like to thank Melanie and Bill for sharing their wonderful chalet with my family and me. You are great people! The Estruch-Redolta family.

The great escape!!!

We just spent a wonderful week at Sawyer Creek. This cabin was perfect for a family of four, and the surrounding area had more than enough to offer in the way of adventure. The cabin was fully equipped including a washer and drier. Towels and sheets are provided and at the end of the week a cleaning service handles your final clean up. It was nice to not have to worry about the bedding, etc, and the need to clean thoroughly before hitting the road at the time of our departure. It is all taken care of by a cleaning service. I personally would not have had to leave once I had arrived, the view from the deck was beautiful and made for a perfect spot to lay on the hammock and read a book. The mountains were fabulous!

I never knew much about this area, but it has it all! Beautiful mountains, valleys, and lakes. Great hiking and boating, world class mountain biking, and amazing scenic roads are all a close drive from this wonderful cabin. If you are looking for unspoiled beauty and the ability to truly unwind while communing with nature, look no further. The cabin is very comfortable and fully equipped, and the owner (the extremely thoughtful and helpful Melanie) provides you with plenty of information on things to do and restaurants to try. My family had an amazing time and we plan to go back every year. Summers are a welcome respite from the heat. I have not been to this area during other times of the year, but I have heard that it is beautiful year round.

We caught about five trout in the creek, saw a deer in the meadow, and hiked all over your mountain. The wildflowers were wonderful.

We didn't think we'd play horseshoes, but ended up out there every evening. The kids loved telling ghost stories at the firepit. My son caught 6 fish, but I didn't catch a single one...still hearing about it, too! We saw a bear on the Appalachian Trail.
