Description of the Robbinsville vacation chalet rental

Trout Creek is a lovely chalet at the base of your own private mountain on a noisy trout stream. Not another cabin is in sight - just 867 feet of private trout stream and a beautiful unspoiled location in the Smokies.
If you've had enough of crowds, traffic, and noise this is the place for you! Surprisingly, you're also close to the things people come to the mountains for...whitewater rafting, hiking, gorgeous scenery, horseback riding, fishing, and more. With gas prices what they are, that's a plus!
Drive over the bridge and you've arrived! Listen to the noisy creek from the screened porch or out on the deck. Enter the great room and be really surprised. This cabin's decor is there to make you feel right at home...cozy and comfortable! Enjoy the stone fireplace on chilly nights. Open the two sliding glass doors and you're on a two level deck with Weber grill, picnic table, lounge chairs, and stairs going down to the creek. Surprise! right at the creek itself is a big old firepit...just perfect for night time roasting of marshmallows and tall tales in the firelight.
Time for bed? Up in the loft is a new king size bed, big bathroom, walk-in closet, desk, and reading nook. Downstairs are two additional bedrooms and another full bath. Sleep well. All our mattresses are replaced often and kept clean and fresh.
There's a laundry room and a fully equipped kitchen. You even have a waffle iron! Better yet, there are some nice restaurants not too far away. You'll note a full video library as well as lots of books, too! If you're a reader, try climbing in the hammock off the deck. Awesome, indeed!
Total peace.
If you want some action, we have horseshoes, croquet, and of course...FISHING! Lots of folks come back every year. After all, it doesn't get any better than this.

Owner Supplied Testimonials
We caught about five trout in the creek, saw a deer in the meadow, and hiked all over your mountain. The wildflowers were wonderful.

We had a fabulous time. The hiking around the cabin was really fun.

We'll be back. The cabin was spotlessly clean and the decorations were perfect. I loved sleeping in the Revolutionary War bedroom. Felt so patriotic.
Andy and Turnette Long
We didn't think we'd play horseshoes, but ended up out there every evening. The kids loved telling ghost stories at the firepit. My son caught 6 fish, but I didn't catch a single one...still hearing about it, too! We saw a bear on the Appalachian Trail.

Dear Melanie and Bill,
We loved it.
