Lakefront Cottage on Lake Santeetlah was completely remodeled, renovated and redecorated in 2006 & 2007. The cottage has a totally new kitchen, new cabinets, all new appliances, ceramic tile floors throughout the cottage, 3 new bathrooms & central A/C & heat system. The Great Room and Master Bedroom provides spectacular views of the lake and mountains and they open onto the screen porch. A great place to relax, read a book, play games or dine with family and friends.

Lake Santeetlah is a pristine mountain lake with 76 miles of shoreline. Eighty percent of the land around the lake is managed by the U.S. Forest Service making this beautiful recreational lake one of the best kept secrets in the Smokies....A great place for swimming, boating & fishing, Lakefront Cottage on Lake Santeetlah is located approximately 8 miles north of the town of Robbinsville. A small mountain town within a 10 to 15 minutes drive from the cottage with all your basic shopping needs, medical care, drug stores, gas stations, public swimming pool, tennis courts, library and restaurants. This area is rich in outdoor recreation from recreational lakes, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, gem mining, whitewater rafting & kayaking, scenic drives & historical sites. Just minutes away from Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, a virgin timber forest with trees over 400 years old and the Cherohala Skyway which is a designated National Scenic Byway with breathtaking scenic views as you travel to elevations over a mile high. There are several hiking trails for your enjoyment that provide views that can only be enjoyed by foot. For a challenging day hike, you can hike a section of The Appalachian Trail as it crosses through the county and Fontana Dam and then enters the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. You're sure to enjoy the Stecoah Valley Cultural Arts Center Studio or a Saturday evening of entertainment during the Summer Evening Concert Series. Upon receipt of your signed rental agreement, half of the total rent will be due plus $25 administrative fee (non-refundable) & applicable state & county taxes. Balance is due upon arrival. Should you need to cancel your reservation, the amount paid towards the rent & the applicable taxes will be refunded if cottage is re-rented for the same time period. No additional fee to reschedule dates.
