Description of the Rockaway Beach vacation cabin rental

Seafarer's Cabin is oceanfront vacation rental, just step over the bank in front of the house and you are on the sand. Just steps from the crashing waves and surf!

This cozy cabin has windows all across the front of the house so that you can truly enjoy the ocean all the time.

The Crows Nest also has an expansive *180 degree view from the northern coast all the way down to Cape Meares. There is a comfy couch to relax in and a table and chairs for seating right by the windows. You can play games, do some writing, or read a good book all while you have the ocean right outside your windows.

There is a picnic table on the patio below and a fire pit too! Gather your friends and family together and build a warm fire, roast some hot dogs or marshmallows and watch the sun go down on the horizon.

This cozy retreat is a great gathering place to get away from it all!

Great Time

February 9, 2013

My husband and I spent 5 days at the Seafare's cabin. The whole experience was wonderful. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. We loved the view and had a nice fire in their fireplace every night. The booking was made easy, thank you Heather. We hope to stay again.

Quirky

While this house may be quirky for some (octagonal shaped) it worked well for us. The central location (South Beach, OR) was conducive to day trips along the coast. The beach access (easy drive to the subdivision park, or a trek via hillside path) was nice, and the beach was great. The kitchen was well equipped. The deck has an awesome view of the ocean, through the trees, and was a delightful, peaceful space. The home was spacious and comfortable as well as quiet, with large flat screen TVs on each floor, and 3 bedrooms. The wrought-iron spiral staircase added character. The upstairs bedroom is nicely done, although I would have liked the ability to block the sun from that lovely skylight in the mornings. We hope to make this an annual trip - Thank you!!!

Charming house with an amazing view

This house is great! Well furnished with 70's furniture, old family pictures and news clippings hanging on the walls. It feels like a well-loved home. The beach view is incredible and the tower out back is the perfect place to relax, eat and unwind. The one downside is that the mattresses are very uncomfortable. One night we slept on the couches because of how hard they are. It felt like two box springs stacked on top of each other. Rockaway Beach is a really nice community, the people are friendly and warm. The stores are easily in walking distance and it feels like a safe, small town. We will be back!

I love the community here as well. I think the safe feeling of a small town is what keeps people coming back year after year. Of course the Ocean view helps!
