I knew I wouldn't be able to see the ocean, but I thought I would hear it. Could only hear the traffic on 101. The house is comfortable, but the smells of the "air freshners" and pest controls gave me a headache for most of the stay. Do not recommend this rental.

We enjoyed our stay at the Lakeview vacation home located at Rockaway. The view to the left, a peaceful view of the lake, out front the local pub. The beach access was easy to find just over a block away. The weather cooperated for us to stroll along the beach at low tide. Your kitchen & living room made it easy for our group of 7 to escape the busy city life.

Enjoyed the house and the location. The kid's cute bedroom was great! Would definitely stay there again - such great beach access, and it's a nice quiet beach. A bit of a struggle to find a nice place to eat...did find a good dinner spot south aways; can't remember the name (Pirate's Cove??) Kitchen in the house was fine, except we would like a plastic pitcher for mixing juice.

This was a wonderful home - please thank the owner for sharing it with us. We loved everything about it. It was clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. Great view, plenty of towels, lots of beds, great for kids! It was spendy but if you get enough people, it is easier to make it work in the budget.
