Description of the Rockaway Beach vacation home rental

The beach house is located at the north end of Rockaway in Nedonna Beach. Nedonna is a small quiet community of homes on the Westside of Highway 101 and has great beach access. The house is a two minute walk to the beach.

The home has three good size bedrooms with two bathrooms. Inside you will find a fully equipped kitchen, woodstove, cable TV with DVD along with board games for the entire family.

Outside there are two decks for picnicking, barbequing and a fire pit to keep warm at night and listen to the sound of the ocean. There is boat parking.

Area Information

Located two blocks from the beach where there is beach combing, walking, kite flying and more. Located one block from the property is a small pond where you can kayak or fish for stocked trout. Two miles to the north there is Nehalem Bay where there is kayaking, crabbing, boat rentals and fishing. There is also a winery located off highway 53. In the town of Garibaldi there is charter fishing trips, crabbing and clamming. The are numerous shops in Rockaway along with various restaurants. There is a site seeing train located in Downtown Rockaway and an arcade for small children and adults.

great place to relax

Clean, well stocked and pleasant home in a wooded area with an easy walk to the beach. Has everything needed for a retreat to get away. Quiet area and close to shopping. Great find.

Comfortable and quiet beach house.

The house was clean, comfortable and in good shape and everything worked well. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens for bed and bath. The Bar Q is not in good shape but the backyard was wooded, quiet and very private with a great fire pit and the front porch was a lovely spot to sit and read or visit. The kichen had some nice features such as a crock pot, washer and dryer, newer coffee maker and dishwasher, but was a little limited on utencils and the Teflon cookware was badly damaged and only one small cookie sheet that was badly oxidized from the dishwasher. The fridge was very old and in need of defrosting. In the livingroom the furniture was nice but the leather sofas were a problem with the cushions sliding off and the lightling was a bit dim. The T.V. was very nice and there were also movies and board and card games as well. The beach was a very short walk down a well maintained street. The rules and procedures for this house were short and easy to follow. The owners communicated well with us and we felt the price was very fair. Our family had a great time and we will definetly be planning another trip to this beach house, maybe in cooler weather to use the woodstove.

Nice quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the beach. House was well equipped and furnished. Should have brought some firewood for the wood stove in the living room. Overall very good experience and we will use it again.

Very clean with all the amenities. Quiet and cozy. Best suited for 2 to 4 people but can sleep 8 comfortably. Two bathrooms is a real plus. Price is perfect for blue collar working class families. We will definitely be back.
