Our family of 6 was quite comfortable in this home with room to spare! The 3 full baths, outdoor shower & laundry more than accomodated our needs. The house is stocked quite well and we honestly didn't want for anything that wasn't provided. The beds are comfy, linens & towels abound, kitchen items plentiful in this well maintained property. The pristine beach cannot be topped! It is a treasure in New England & beyond. You wake to a view from the master bedroom that is remarkable. At low tide the stretch of beach makes way for games of frisbee & bocce. Long walks or runs or jogs are inevitable. High tide can be tricky as the water leaves little room betwen the shore & rocks but the house has a fabulous sitting area out front with lounge chairs for many. Sand chairs are at your disposable, as well. Great waves for boogie boarding! Throw a fishing line from the shore or cast off the rocks & there's a good chnce to catch a keepsr! The location is ideal for going off to Bearskin Neck or to historic downtown Gloucester yet quite honestly there's little need to leave the property! There is wi-fi and a Wii should there be a rainy day uring your stay. One tv which we found enjoyable as we gthered at night as family. The kitchen area is quite large should you chose to eat indoors although there is a back deck table by the grill overlooking a beautiful marsh. The sea breeze flows through the home & there are plenty of fans throughout. All in all a fabulous destination & choice of a vacation home. The owners daughter is responsive & easy to work with if needed!
