Description of the Rome vacation apartment rental
Sunny attic (130 m2/1399 sqft, 100 m2/1076 sqft of terraces) arranged on 2 floors with a breathtaking 360° view over the heart of ancient Rome, Coliseum and surroundings, encircled by 3 public parks and 1 garden.
At only 2m walk from Imperial Forums, Domus Aurea, Palatinus and Circus Maximus, it is perfect for visiting ancient Rome while comfortably settled in a newly renovated apartment (May 2006) with full comforts (air conditioning, heating, satellite Sky TV with programs in Italian, English, French etc., dvd-divx-cd-mpeg player, hi fi + home theatre, washing machine, dishwasher, hairdryer, coffee maker, microwave oven/grill, iron and ironing board, city guides etc.).
Located at the 6th and 7th floor of a 7-floors building with elevator, in a district, Celio (one of the famous Seven Hills) quiet though lively with restaurants, pubs and supermarkets.
It can easily accommodate up to 11 adults plus 2 children (a highchair and two cots are available for free), as the space of the entire property (230 m2) allows full ease of living for a large group or family.

Located in the heart of ancient Rome, the apartment is ideal for those who want to walk around in historical centre or reach destinations by public transportation. Colosseum, Imperial Forums, Domus Aurea, Palatinus and Circus Maximus are only two minutes walk.
--- The district ---
Its district, Celio, is becoming very fashionable like Trastevere but much less noisy and so full of greens (it is encircled by three public parks and one garden, which are perfect for children).
Pubs, restaurants, wine bars and pizzerias are everywhere.
During summer Villa Celimontana hosts a Jazz Festival and various cultural events during all year.
In Via S. Giovanni in Laterano you can find two cashpoints and at 'Pizza Forum you get a real pizza 'the way Neapolitans cook it (something not so common in Rome). A pharmacy is in Via Celimontana. A supermarket is in Via Annia and another one is in Via SS. Quattro, both 1 minute walk away.

"We were transported into the Italian lifestyle - the colisseum a stones throw away, breathtaking views from the different rooms, parks within walking distance and lovely local eateries within two blocks. What better way to taste the essence of Rome than to be immersed in it. The apartment was lovely. Third bedroom with a breathtaking view. Owners were very very helpful and location although in the centre of things, provided quiet and a sense of home away from home.
