Elegant Spanish home within walled Arab quarter of Ronda with magnificent view overlooking the ancient city, Arab baths, verdant countryside and distant mountains. Enjoy breakfast listening to birds (17 species) in magical garden reminiscent of Enchanted April.
Large romantic garden, unique in Ronda, is surrounded by an ancient church and the Arab wall and houses a large swimming pool. This property is next to 15th Century Espiritu Santo Church--the oldest Christian monument in Ronda which itself is one of the oldest cities in Spain.
Spanish style home built centuries ago, includes private bathroom in each room and beautiful traditional furniture.
Nevetheless the Spanish owners, Jose Maria and Doris, warmly welcome families with children and dogs to enjoy their beautiful surroundings (and to entertain their friendly cocker spaniel and Yorkshire terrier).
Area Description
This home is in the centuries old Arab quarter near to the Barreo San Francisco with many nearby restaurants and bars.
It is a prefect location for walking tours of Ronda. The historic bridges and Parador are 2 minutes walk away and all the the important historical sites a similar distance. For example, the Plaza de Toros (the bullring where modern bullfighting began and Orson Welles wished his ashes spread) is 5 - 10 minutes walk away.
Because this home is on the edge of the countryside there are many country lanes and walking paths to explore, Many cycling tours also stay at this charming inn.
Historic sites including Roman bridge, Arab baths, XV Century Church, beautiful private garden and swimming pool with panoramic view of countryside.
