Write a review We had a great time in an excellent home. Very clean and we had everything we needed. We also booked the same home for 2 months in 2011. This was our second time renting this beautiful home and we were not disappointed. Everything was perfect including the weather. If you are looking for a beautiful home with a pool that's located in a wonderful residential area then this house is for you. We are hoping to be back for a third time in the very near future! We were blown away from the minute we walked in the doors! Everything was PERFECT. When we vacation, we always rent homes, but this one surpassed them all. You needed NOTHING. They provided everything from hairspray to beach chairs. The house was beautiful and unbeleivably clean. The pool was wonderful and so much fun. The hosts were wonderful and did their best to make everything perfect. We are already planning a trip back! What a wonderful rental home! We felt like we were at home only in a warmer climate and with our own private pool. That is one great way to describe this home...private! Many days we didn't even leave! We certainly did not want to leave to go back home. Wendy and Paul are great hosts and certainly take great pride in their home to make sure we had everything we needed! They are the best! Michelle and Jeremy All I can say is WOW. We didn't want to go home. From the moment we walked in it was just awesome. I would recomend this home to anyone and everyone. It has everything you need to sit back and relax. We had a great time even if it did rain almost everyday...all day. Paul was a great host and the house was so clean and well taken care of. We can't wait to go back!! Paul's vacation home was fully equipped, ranging from nail polish remover to beach chairs ... it was just incredible! The house is located in a very friendly community, you can relax at the poolside and enjoy the silence, in the evening a flat screen TV with Dolby Surround and more than 100 different DVDs are there for you to entertain you. There are very cosy restaurants nearby where you can enjoy fantastic meals at really reasonable prices. Paul and Wendy are very helpful and always make their guests feel like kings and queens. Residing in this vacation home for three weeks contributed a lot to making our Florida vacation an unforgettable experience!!! This is an excellent house with pool,double garage, everything you need,peaceful,great hosts just next door. We spent a month here, the weather was excellent . We spent our time at Gasparilla island ($4 toll- we had month pass - much cheaper get at building at the side of the toll gates) and Englewood beach.We looked around the Rotunda, this house is in the better part, more foliage and privacy-very quiet. The pictures as has been said before here don't justify how nice the pool and garden area is. We liked it so much we have booked again! We really enjoyed this rental. It was very clean and it's located in a quiet and safe residential area. The shops and beaches are just minutes away. We highly recommend it! you will not be let down by this property, or the owners, they have thought of everything & it was a treat to stay in this property & meet them both, go & stay here, be assured you will not be let down, next time we go to florida we will stay here if paul or wendy read this thanks & regards This stay was just as wonderful as the first. The owners had made a few updates to the house that only added to it's charm and comfort. There were 6 of us visiting this time, and there was plenty of room for all. We'll definitely return again, and again... We had such a great week staying here. The house is gorgeous, even better than the pictures. Everything you could need is here. The pool was so fun! Family Nieminen from Finland, Europe When we walked into this house, we were taken aback. The music was playing low and there was a nice note which made us feel so welcome. There were plenty of towels for the pool and pool toys for our children (ages 7 and 10). A neverending supply of movies kept my husband and children contempt in the evenings. Paul was quick to supply us with literature for areas we expressed an interest in visiting. Rotonda is a beautiful, quiet community just a hop from everything. My kids said this was their best vacation (sorry, Mickey). Manasota Beach is a must (lots of sharks teeth). Enjoy!!! This was by far the best vacation rental we've ever stayed in. I went with my daughter and grandaughter, and we were amazed when we walked in, and looked around - the place is fabulous. So cleverly decorated, immaculate, and very comfortible. Paul met us outside on our arrival (they live next door), welcomed us, and said to go and settle in. He came over a short while later to see if there was anything we might need. He left a contact #, and said to call if we ever needed anything - we never did. The house has everything you could ever want, and more. The pool was warm and inviting, and the beaches were only 14 minutes away. There are many great resturants in the area. The neighborhood is very safe and friendly. We were all very sad to leave, and are already planning our return trip. I highly recommend this rental! We stayed here for March& April,2008. The place was very well decorated, very clean,the owners were delightful, helpful individuals. The location in Rotonda is quiet, yet close to all your needs and entertainment. The pool is great-and solar heated-and we arrived to a very nice note to enjoy our stay-PLUS a bottle of wine and fresh flowers. As they say-"who could ask for anything more". I'd recomend this home to anyone, and plan to return ourselves. My grandparents and I stayed here for about a month. The online pictures do not do it justice! The whole house was decorated so nice. We had everything we needed and more! The pool big and very clean! My cousin and I swam in it everyday. The beach was minutes away and there were plenty of restaurants near by. The house- and the owners!- made our vacation nice and easy. I would defantitly stay here again! Don't pay more when you can stay in a better house for less! My parents and I stayed for 2 weeks in September and had a wonderful time. The house and pool were super clean and perfect for us. Wendy and Paul were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place, it is in a great location with fantastic beaches, shops and restaurants nearby. We look forward to returning. Everything from the beautifully decorated and immaculately clean home to the beaches and the Englewood area exceeded our expectations. We couldn't have been more pleased. We had a wonderful week in Florida, visiting our son and his family, and getting to stay in such a great home made it even more enjoyable. We look forward to spending more time in this home on future vacations. Thanks again! All that we said when we walked in this house was "WOW". That old saying "you get what you pay for", not here, we got the better end of the deal this time. This house totally exceeded our expectations. Paying such a reasonable and AFFORDABLE price, we expected average accomodations. This was luxurious! Better than we could have imagined! So unbelievably affordable for what we had. The owners CANNOT DO ENOUGH to accomodate your every need....just the friendliest people you would ever want to meet!! We are definitely returning sometime in the future.
