Rotonda is a wildlife sanctuary that boasts lush sub-tropical foliage, from sunrise to sunset the beauty of nature is all around.
Locally, 2 large supermarkets and an abundance of restaurants catering to everyones' tastes are within a 5 minute drive from the villa. A vast choice of shops are available in Englewood and Port Charlotte. A map of the Rotonda area can be found here.
Attractions for the more adventurous include Disney World, Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, The Everglades, Sanibel & Marco Islands to name but a few.

Beautiful and spacious
April 15, 2013
This home was beautiful and spacious. Lots of big comfy sofas and chairs. There was beer and wine waiting for us in the fridge upon our arrival, it was a nice touch. (I would have liked to have seen a few pool toys for the kids and some updated beach towels.) Overall, it's a fantastic place; schedule permitting, we plan on coming back!

Our family stayed at the Palms Retreat for Christmas 2010. What a wonderful choice! The house was beautiful-just perfect for our family of 5. Michael and Lorna were wonderful hosts! There was a bottle of wine waiting for us upon arrival. Michael was very responsive when we had questions or needed anything - even on Christmas Day! The DVD player in the living area was broken, so he promptly brought over another one. We needed the pool heat because it was cold during our stay. He came over right away and turned it on for us. We were swimming within hours. We had a very relaxing vacation.I would highly recommend the Palms Retreat for your vacation. Because it was cold, we could have used extra blankets. A hot tub would have been nice also. However, those were the only things that could have improved our stay. Michael and Lorna were extremely prompt at returning the security deposit also. Please do not hesitate to rent the Palms Retreat for your Florida vacation.Guest: Cold in FL(Michigan)

We have been traveling to the Rontonda area for a few years and stayed at 5 different houses. All were nice, but none were as nice as the Palms Retreat! Needless to say, we will be staying here for all our future visits. This really had that great "home" feeling. The master suite was very spacious with plenty of closet space. The living/dining/kitchen area was a fantastic area that was open, providing a place that we could all be together, no matter what we were doing. We all loved the pool area.... every morning and evening were spent on the table, taking in the sights and sounds. But, what made the home the best were the gracious hosts! Michael and Lorna are wonderful and were there if we needed anything! I would highly recommend this home to anyone thinking of coming to the area, looking for a wonderful place to stay!!
