Relax and enjoy breakfast on our private pool's patio or enjoy a short walk to the beach. Nearby activities include water sports, scuba diving, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, sailing, horseback riding, hiking, botanical gardens, Green Grotto Caves and other historical sites. A short drive from the villa is world reknown Ocho Rios with Dunn's River Falls, Fern Gully, and Dolphine Cove.

not a bad way to vacation, February 27, 2009

Stayed here for a week in late Feb for son's wedding. The cook Joyce and Vincent the butler were simply outstanding. She can cook any Jamaican food you want and it was GOOD. There isn't any ocean view as stated which was disappointing. The beach you can go to is pretty nice though and not far away. Road to the villa isn't much though .. lots of potholes and such but overall passable. The pool is very nice. No windows in the place so mosquitos can be a little bit of a bother. At night, neighbor dogs bark and if not used to it can keep you up. We found that turning on the unit air conditioners in the rooms to fan only masked the noise adequately and did keep air moving in the bedrooms. Overall, it was a nice experience - best part by far was the home cooking prepared by Joyce. Villa nice place to kick back and relax. We rented a vehicle so traveling about was no problem. Villa interior quality was not bad ... little old but still ok. If tired of hotels, try it out.

Great staff but villa lacked, June 12, 2008

We arrived on Saturday evening and had a GREAT meal ready for us. Joyce is a wonderful cook and a great lady, Vincent takes such pride in his work and is such a kind man and Inez is a just a sweetheart; they made up for the "hurting" villa. The entire week we were there, we had NO hot water and a few electrical issues which made me a bit nervous. The location of the villa was good and the staff was excellent but the villa itself is in need of some tender loving care.
