Description of the Saco vacation cottage rental
Cozy Maine cottage with ocean views. Short walk to private, sandy beach. Large, grassy back yard .. deemed the best in the neighborhood .. with BBQ, picnic table, lounge chairs. Nicely furnished. Dining porch has views.
Quiet neighborhood, great beach .. off-the beaten path but close to everything .. shopping, amusements, night life, culture.
Also willing to "swap" a week for western ski resort or other interesting destination.
Quiet spot on Maine coast ... but within a half hour of major attractions. Long, sandy beach you can walk for miles. Kayaking, fishing, clam-digging. Within a half hour of Portland and its museums, bustling old port, islands, restaurants and shopping (including LL Beans).
