Description of the Saco vacation home rental

This 2-bedroom house is on the ground-floor of a 2-family house, 3rd house back from the ocean. The unit upstairs is not rented in the summer. Bed Setup: Each bedroom has a 1 full bed & there’s a sleep sofa (full) in the living room. Home sleeps 4 in beds 6 total using the sleep sofa. Distant ocean views from the yard. Microwave, gas BBQ grille, patio set, Cable TV, bath with a shower/tub combo. House has heat, if needed It’s on a dead-end street to car traffic, good for kids. Walk to the end of street onto Surf St. (parallel to the ocean, turn left, walk by 3 streets for beach access at the end of Fairhaven Ave., about a minute walk. NOTE: Home has WIFI. Bring your laptop too if you want. Great fishing @ the end of the Sunset Ave. at high tide. Only $900/wk.

Area Information

Ferry Beach is a short walk to Camp Ellis where the Saco River meets the ocean. There is great fishing in both areas.
We cater to families and are great area for little kids. Families return here year after year for vacations.

Camp Ellis is a "Fishing Village" area. The dock is open year round, isan active fishing area for commercial lobstermen & fishermen. You can go over to the dock and watch both fishing vessels and pleasure boats. Whale watching & fishing charters operate out of the docks. Kayak rentals are nearby for use on the Saco River, which goes out to the ocean at Saco Bay.

There is also a mile-long jetty to fish from or just fish at the end of Sunset at high tide, steps from the cottage. There are several golf courses nearby, Half way between Kittery & Freeport for outlet shopping. Theme Park & Water Parks 10-minute drives away and Old Orchard is 3 miles, with amusements also.
