We stayed at this beach house for part of spring break and loved it! The house was big enough for our 2 families, beautiful views, huge deck, literally steps from the beach, and plenty to do near by. (We loved mango mangos, downtown and the outlet for shopping and the kids loved the surf lessons from the local surf shop) The house was clean and had many amenities that we enjoyed.

Very homey beach retreat

April 2, 2012

Although there were a few things that could have been done better, overall the beach house was very comfortable and we had a very nice time. The main living areas are very open, roomy and user friendly. Location is ideal within walking distance to restaurants and shops with public beach access off of back porch. The deck swing was to die for and coveted the whole stay. A few negatives: It would have been ideal to have access to the downstairs bath without disturbing the person staying in the downstairs bedroom [design flaw]]. The dishwasher does not clean well requiring handwashing of glasses. Light bulbs and remote batteries need to be replaced. Finally, the radio/intercom appeared to be haunted because it would randomly come on even though it had been repeatedly turned off. I really am only pointing these things out so the owner can be aware because none of these minor irritants dampened my stay at all.

Great value for the $

My sister's family and I just rented this home together for The Fl-Ga game weekend. Norbert was very accommodating and easy to work with. We rented the lock- off apartment as well and slept twelve comfortably. The kitchen was well appointed and met all of our cooking- baking needs. We enjoyed a low country boil on the large deck and you can't beat the proximity to the beach! Some of the furnishings and decor are dated but everything was comfortable and clean! We stay in SA at least two weeks each year and this home offers a great deal for your money! We hope to be back in the summer!
