Description of the Saint George vacation cottage rental

A piece of paradise – a pretty little cottage built by a cabinetmaker in 1900. It sits right at the water's edge on granite ledge, with blueberries, bayberry, spruce and fir all around, and views out to sea and to the village, in rowing or paddling distance from the all-tide dock that is part of the property.

People who visit our cottage say it puts a spell on them. It certainly does for me, along with the nostalgia of childhood memories of cozy fires, swimming, croquet on the lawn, lobster feasts, sing-alongs, sailing.

Area Description

Plenty of great things to do, even on a rainy day! There are museums, art galleries, cafes...hikes in the Camden Hills, concerts, movies...lots of culture. Boat yards, colorful commercial fishermen and their docks and boats... come see for yourself.
