Description of the Saint James City vacation home rental

This is a beautiful furnished 2004 Manufactured Home. In addition to being bright, spacious and airy, the home is located on a deep water canal with a 10,000 pound electric boat lift and a Jet sky lift. The home has a master bedroom and bath, guest room, a 2nd bathroom, living room,dinning room and a fully equipped kitchen. The large open patio has full view of the canal which is home to many different species of fish, manatees and dolphins. The large walk around wood deck has a fish cleaning station, and right above the deck there are coconut trees and a hammock to relax in a tropical paradise atmosphere.

The canal is a gateway to the Gulf waters. It provides easy access to Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Cayo Costa and many more locations. You will be minutes away from some of the best beaches and fishing spots. Pricing for the 10,000 pound boat lift are available upon request. Complimentary amenities include a canoe, 2 fishing rods, 2 bicycles, cable TV and internet acces.

Area Description

Pine Island has many Restaurants to choose from, art galleries, community pool, tennis courts, bike path, nearby Golf course and many special events through out the year. The Island also has a water-taxi available to Cabbage Key and Cayo Costa. A car drive pprox. 20 min. will take you to Ft. Myers for excellent shopping and a variety of Malls and Restaurants.

The house was very clean and well decorated. It also had all the household things available to live very comfortably. It is a great place for someone looking for a place to fish, as long as you brng a boat. The down side is that it is a least a 1.5 hr trip to the nearest beach. If you have a boat you can get to Sanibel island in 15 min, but it is at least an hour and a half by car and the traffic is usually very bad. Also you would want to be careful with the bikes, The brakes gave out on the female bike, resulting in a trip in the ambulance to the hospital. We did let the owner know and he said he will be replacing the bike, just make sure.
