All Hallow's Eve literally means the evening before All Holy Ones' Day or All Saints Day which is still celebrated
in some parts of the world. The festivities on All Hallow's Eve have long been a way of laughing at death and evil.

Around the corner you will find the famous House of Seven Gables, written about by Nathaniel Hawthorne. The newly renovated Peabody Essex Museum, the Salem Witch Museum, the Witch House, and the Pirate Museum are all within a few blocks of the apartment. Stroll the cobblestone walkway of Essex Street and visit the many interesting and ever changing souvenir stores, bookstores and majic shops. And you'll find a discount family movie theater at the Patriot Mall Cinema right around the corner for a rainy day.

For a small apartment in a two family house built in the 1800's this place is a palace. Well decorated with 19th century East India Export style accents and cozy colors, even the pictures on the walls are well chosen. We had a fabulous time in Salem. Can't say I used the kitchen much but it was nice to keep our leftovers in and make breakfast and lunch. So what the TV has to warm up and there's no high-speed internet. That really added to the charm. Well, no it didn't but who cares.
What a wonderful place. You thought of everything!
I just love how you decorated. We didn't know what to expect because your rates almost seemed too good. But this was well worth it. You could charge a lot more!
Walking down this street brings back such good memories for me. We'll definitely be back!
Coming from the expansive land of Texas to the small city of Salem is quite a culture shock. Your apartment was a perfect getaway for us. Thanks for sharing this home.
What a perfect location! On a beautiful street and near everything. I just love the area.
