Enjoy the top ocean and lighthouse views from the living-room of this one-bedroom condo on the waterfront at Barra Beach. At sunset you will be able to enjoy a magic view of All Saints Bay.

At New Year €™s and Carnaval watch the performances across the street from your own window, and spare the crowd hassle. You will not need to rent a "camarote" for next Carnaval.

The condo has been recently renovated (April 07) is neat, well-ventilated, and comfortable. It is fully furnished and the kitchen is well equipped. It sleeps 4 people (one double bed and one sofa bed). It has two ceiling fans and TV.

Home the most important carnaval circuit and one of the best urban beaches in Salvador - Porto da Barra beach. It used to be a beach hangout for Tropicalistas Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil, and it is still today............................................................................................................................................................
The beach is set within the bay and the water is much calmer than on the oceanside beaches; it's good for swimming. The end of the beach closest to the lighthouse has protected pools making it a good place for kids
to safely play in the water. The far end of the beach is surfer territory.Barra is a central location with good night life, restaurants, shops, banks, internet cafes, etc. It is a residential neighborhood and not nearly as touristy as Pelourinho - therefore avoiding most of the troublesome touts.

Short bus ride to most tourist destinations and beaches.

ideal for the traveller wanting to rest up away from the noise (and occasional annoyance) of the pelourinho. Secure building, great views, more than adequate kitchen to get some home cooking in if desired. Supermarket and bus stop close. Some traffic noise daytime, dies away at night. It's not for luxury villa types but is real value for money in it's range and clean and bright. Very helpful owners.
