Description of the San Antonio vacation home rental

Our San Antonio "Fiesta House" is your clean, comfortable, fully-furnished vacation rental home-away-from-home. And it's conveniently located within minutes of most San Antonio area attractions. This 3 bedroom 2 bath updated, single-story ranch-style has high ceilings, tile and parquet flooring throughout. The large fenced in back yard has a patio, picnic table and BBQ grill - perfect for outdoor family gatherings. Fiesta House sleeps 6 comfortably. Tall people will appreciate the California King bed in the master bedroom and the two XL Twin beds in the middle bedroom. The bed in the 3rd bedroom and the Futon in the living room have regular Full-sized mattresses. Sit back and relax in our cozy leather recliners while enjoying full HD television on our 46" flat-screen TV in the living room. There is also a smaller HD flat-screen in the master bedroom. This home has a central heating and air, an extra-long driveway and a two car garage.

Area Information

THE LOCATION: Fiesta House is only 5 minutes from the airport, North Star Mall and the Quarry Market; 10 minutes from Fort Sam; 15 minutes from downtown attractions such as the River Walk and the Alamo; 25 minutes from Fiesta Texas, Sea World, the Mission Trail, and Lackland AFB; and 30 minutes from Shlitterbahn in New Braunfels, TX.
Easy access to major highways makes it easy to get around town and visit surrounding towns and attractions. For those wishing to use public transportation a bus stop with a direct rout to downtown is a block away. Once downtown the city offers a convenient streetcar service for getting around the downtown area with ease. There are also direct bus routs from downtown to local shopping destinations and popular tourist attractions.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD: Located in a quiet, well-established residential neighborhood. With it's wide streets and mature oak trees, the neighborhood is popular with walkers. A small park with playground and tennis courts, restaurants and small grocery store are within walking distance. For those visiting during the summer, a public pool is about a mile away. Need more exercise; a 25-mile Hike & Bike trail runs behind the neighborhood.

Excellent long-term stay in a great location.

My family stayed in this house for about two months while waiting for a permanent place after we moved to San Antonio. The house was absolutely perfect for our family of four. The backyard is a great place for the kids to play. The owner's collection of toys and children's books were also greatly appreciated as our kids were getting tired of the items that they brought with us on our move while waiting to have all of their own toys and books back again. The neighborhood is very convenient to the airport, Ft. Sam Houston, and downtown San Antonio. The home owner is extremely responsive to any maintenance problems and takes care of issues quickly. I highly recommend this home for short or long-term stays in the San Antonio area.

Southern Comfort At Its Best!!

June 18, 2012

This home is perfect!! We had every amenity needed and more including a nice fenced in backyard for the kids to play. Our family visited Natural Bridge Caverns, San Antonio Zoo, Six Flags, Schlitterbahn, The Alamo & Riverwalk during our 5 day stay. We got to all destinations within 30 minutes. My son brought his 3DS and didn't even use it once during our entire stay!!!! San Antonio has a lot to offer and it seems that this house was right in the middle of all. House is also more spacious than pictured. We had a family of 3 visit us at this home and we were able to sit all 7 of us comfortably in the living room to watch a movie. That family is local and they were extremely impressed with this home as well. Last but not least I would like to thank the owner Flora and her husband for keeping this home so well maintained. You have thought of everything to make our stay so enjoyable and comfortable. A nice BBQ grill with charcoal and lighter fluid already stocked and ready to use??? Of course we didn't find out about the charcoal and lighter fluid until after we purchased both, but we didn't mind at all leaving it for the next guest. Its the least we could do!! Thank you for being so easy to work with. I'm sure that everyone will enjoy their stay as much as we did. You guys are awesome!

Fiesta House Extravaganza

June 4, 2012

Everything about this house was perfect. It has easy access on and off the freeway system. The yard was great, the house was really well kept and clean. We were there for our son's Air Force Graduation and Coin Cermony and could not have asked for a better experience. Our son was able to come and relax, watch tv, play games and get ready for his next adventure. I would highly recommend the Fiesta House.

Winter retirement get-away

April 24, 2012

My husband and I rented this listing for one month and we found the owner (Flora) to be very accomadating and helpful. If we found that there was something that we needed, she usually provided it the very next day. The location was ideal for visiting the tourist sites and it was maybe a 15 minute drive to the majority of them. We did have more airplane activity than what we expected but it usually never bothered us. We would recommend this property to other people. The description listing is very accurate as to the appearance, location, and amenities. The people in San Antonio are very friendly. Flora was very helpful with recommending places to eat and visit.
