This wonderful, spacious beach home is perfectly located in San Clemente (known for having the "Best Climate on Earth") just steps from family beaches, the famous pier, fire pits, swingsets and downtown shopping and restaurants. Our home is the perfect place for families, extended families or groups of friends to escape.

Filled with an eclectic mix of custom-made, vintage and new furniture, the home has something for everyone. All mattresses are brand new, custom-made, for your sleeping pleasure. All linens are new, of exceptional quality and included in your stay (beach towels too). There are 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths in our home. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths are upstairs (one master suite, one jack-and-jill set-up great for children). The master bathroom has a Waterworks Empire Soaking Tub and a separate shower with rain showerhead. The jack-and-jill bath has a fabulous claw-foot soaking tub, 2 separate sink consoles and plenty of room. 1 bedroom suite is downstairs with a full bathroom. All bathroom fixtures/linens are from Restoration Hardware and Anthropologie.

Our home features a gourmet kitchen with all new appliances, except for my grandparent's 1940's vintage Wedgewood Stove. Also included is a built-in beverage refrigerator and built-in recycling containers. All dishes, glassware and table linens are from Anthropologie. The large family room is great for any and all to hang out, read, play games and watch movies. A separate dining room seats at least 12 and offers plenty of room to linger over a long meal in comfort. Inaudible, large-load capacity, energy-efficient Bosch Washer & Dryer in laundry closet.

Two decks overlook the ocean, one with a marble and iron dining table for dining alfresco and the other off the master bedroom with plush chairs for watching the ocean, sunset/sunrise or reading and contemplation. A beautifully landscaped backyard includes a patio, gas grill, zinc picnic table, lounging area and outdoor shower to rinse the sand off after returning from your arduous day at the beach.

Boogie boards, sand toys, chairs, umbrellas and sunscreen (not facial sunscreen) are provided for your beach fun. Flat screen TV, DVD/VHS, iPod Bose speaker and wireless internet ready (bring your laptop) are all provided. A movie library, games and books are also provided for both children and adults. Aveda Shampoo and Conditioner along with luxury soaps and ionic hair dryers are in each lavatory. Everything has been provided for you. Just bring your beach clothes and beach attitude for a luxurious, restful, fun vacation "away from it all."

San Clemente is a beautiful beach town on the southern most tip of Orange County. Downtown Ave Del Mar boasts fabulous antique shops, clothing boutiques, surf/swimwear shops, art galleries (all without attitude) and restaurants to suit any taste. Down by the pier is Fisherman's Restaurant and Bar where you can dine with the surf crashing below you. The beaches are beautiful with plenty of sand and surf to laze away the days.

Los Angeles is one hour to the north and San Diego is one hour to the south. Dana Point Harbor (ferries to Catalina Island, sailing, whale watching, deep sea fishing, jet ski rental) and San Juan Capistrano (the famous Mission) are 10 minutes north. Laguna Beach (Pageant of the Masters, art and photo galleries, shopping, restaurants) is 20 minutes north. Newport Beach (Fashion Island shopping center) is 30 minutes north. Disneyland/California Adventure is 40 minutes north. Knott's Berry Farm (Chicken Dinner and amusement park) is 45 minutes north. Legoland is 30 minutes south in Carlsbad. Sea World, The San Diego Zoo and The Wild Animal Park are 50 minutes to an hour south in San Diego.

John Wayne Airport (Santa Ana) is 30 minutes away, not too large and very convenient. LAX and San Diego airports are each 1 hour away; LAX to the north, San Diego to the south.
